I’m a 4.5/5 and 5’9” my feet are quite wide so I can’t wear some types of shoes and I’m a large lady so I look ridiculously top heavy if my shoes are fairly chunky. I blame my small feet for me always falling over

Ikeameatballs · 28/04/2019 22:34

5’4” clothes size 6-8 and shoe size 3.5/4. Increasingly recently I’ve noticed needing a 3.5, I haven’t lost weight and don’t think my feet have shrunk!!

BillywigSting · 28/04/2019 22:38

3.5 to 4

2.5 to 3 pre pregnancy.

Not at all difficult to find shoes, feet propionate to my diminutive height. Easier post dc though as a 2.5 can be a little tricky to find outside of children's shoes.

I quite often get a good bargain in the sales as it seems to be more 3s and 7s, with very few size 5s etc.

barberousbarbara · 28/04/2019 22:38

I'm 5ft 2 and wear sizes 3 or 3.5, depending on the style. I enjoy being able to buy children's sizes in branded trainers much cheaper than adult sizes

BikeRunSki · 28/04/2019 22:39

UK 9.
Used to be a massive PITA to buy shoes, but things are getting better, or at least I know where to go. I am a chunky, clumpy kind of girl, i have occassionally wondered if my more utilitarian style what’s evolved from s youth of wearing work boots and men’s shoes.

shitpark · 28/04/2019 23:09

I often find a 5 is too large now, I think shoes are getting wider. Boots are fine and I can wear socks so ok, but heels are a no, I always just step out of them, or crush my toes trying to keep them on. I am most comfortable in trainers.

shitpark · 28/04/2019 23:11

I can not buy shoes in M and S or Clarkes, Whistles is ok, Russell and Bromley sometimes.

BlythesEyes · 28/04/2019 23:17

5 ft 7 size 8...I like yellow shoes but my feet sonetine look like bananas Grin

BlythesEyes · 28/04/2019 23:18

*sometimes

Summerfalls · 28/04/2019 23:19

Shoe size Uk 4 and height 5.5
Have no problems buying shoes to fit at all.

florence11 · 28/04/2019 23:20

5'9" and size 8. Struggle to find 8s usually.

Thesuzle · 28/04/2019 23:27

I should be taller ! Dam it. Bikerunski have you seen an 8.5 anywhere ? And if only the standard width on the shop floors was one size wider I would be able to buy more shoes...

BlueEyedBengal · 28/04/2019 23:28

I'm a 8

I'm 5 foot 4 and I wear a size 8 shoe.

Auldspinster · 28/04/2019 23:34

5ft 7.5 and a size 8 - 42 not 41. It's a pita that retailers aren't consistent when labelling size 8s, some are 41 which is really 7.5.

sundaybluecoffee · 28/04/2019 23:35

Mine is a UK 7, I do have one foot that fits a 6.5 though which is really annoying! And often have to use an insole. My feet are also very narrow which makes shoe shopping hard.

goose1964 · 28/04/2019 23:37

I am a size 5 and five foot seven, although my feet are wide with a high instep so often need a 6 so that the width is OK, pre kids I was a 4 and a half

BikeRunSki · 29/04/2019 06:49

@Thesuzle - to be honest, there is so much inconsistency in sizing and Euro/British/US size conversion, even within the same brands, that 8.5s could be anywhere, and labelled anything!

AnyFucker · 29/04/2019 06:59

5ft 10 and shoe size 6

BrillyPribble · 29/04/2019 06:59

I'm an 8, was a 7 pre-pregnancy. Also have wide and painful feet (and bunions!) so shoe buying is generally a nightmare. If I find something that fits, I usually buy several!

WindsweptEgret · 29/04/2019 07:11

UK 6.5 or 40, 5ft 5. I wear ankle boots and trainers. No issues buying shoes, I can buy both women's and men's.

Booboo5 · 29/04/2019 07:17

5ft 10 and a UK 10.
I hate shoe shopping.

BuzzPeakWankBobbly · 29/04/2019 07:19

Fat 5'4" and an 8. Although I wear 9 in trainers and bike shoes etc.

I was a size 7 in the last year of primary school (I hated how there was only ever 1 or 2 pairs of Clark's in my size!), stayed that way till I got fat, then my feet did too.

Justonemorepancake · 29/04/2019 07:24

3.5/4
