Fancy £100 to spend on some new summer FitFlops? 🌞

HannahGMumsnet · 17/04/2019 16:33

Hi everyone,

It's a well known fact that FitFlops have some pretty loyal fans here on Mumsnet for being, among other things, "blissfully comfortable" and "stupidly good."

With warmer weather creeping closer by the day, we want you to tell us which pair of FitFlop shoes you'd choose to compliment your summer wardrobe for the chance to win a £100 voucher. Whether you're jetting off somewhere hot, or your holiday plans comprise a tour of the local play parks with the kids, there's a pair of FitFlops for every occasion.

On Wednesday 1 May, we will pick three lucky winners at random who will each win a £100 voucher to spend on FitFlops of their choice.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply take a look at the FitFlop website and leave a comment letting us know which pair of shoes you would most like to get your hands on and why.

We might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful to other users.

FitFlop haven’t paid for this thread, but they are supplying the prizes.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

F-Sporty in all black.

I have narrow, long feet - trainers with a white sole make my feet look huge!

UnaOfStormhold · 18/04/2019 07:36

Some gold or bronze sandals would be nice - like lulu

Chelsea26 · 18/04/2019 07:38

Lulu for me, will go with anything and look so comfy!

HopeMatters · 18/04/2019 07:40

Any of the Allegro ballerinas, but for this time of year the nude and the flowery pair.

I have a couple of pairs of these that are probably a bit past their best now actually, and they're perfect for tons of different looks. At work in summer, with skinnies or a summery skirt. Plus I regularly have to go to work in a really hot country and they're lovely and cool to wear there too, for my hot little toes Smile

Sickoffamilydrama · 18/04/2019 07:41

I love the simple clean lines of barra

tinyradish · 18/04/2019 07:41

Oooh I'd probably go for the Carita trainers in turquoise. They would be so fab as I'm due my baby boy any time now & would like to get walking lots throughout summer to lose the baby weight/regain some fitness:)

However I do love the Nadia peep toe loafers too!

cansu · 18/04/2019 07:42

So many that I like but I would probably go for the barely dotted snake sandals. I love the black and white as goes with everything and they look super comfy. Also like the denim braid slides as these look a bit different to the usual backless stuff.

marmiteloversunite · 18/04/2019 07:46

Ooo I love fitflops! I would like the pink Allegra for Spring /Summer. Thank you! Grin

RikGrimesIsMyFavourite · 18/04/2019 07:50

The busier I get, the more I look to combine comfort and style in my footwear. I love fitflops and have a few pairs. I'd choose the 'sage dotted leather back strap mule'.

I could wear this shoe to work, dress it up and down when out and about, and look summery with the quirky different design, whilst feeling bouncy and light of course.

Justasecondnow · 18/04/2019 07:51

Tia for me. Like a barely there summer sandal and they look right up my street.

Never had a fit flop before, looked at website to see why they’re called fit flop - ie. they keep you fit or fit well. I suspected former and google told me that’s the case. Couldn’t easily work that out from the website though. They could do with an about fit flop but o their menu.

slug · 18/04/2019 07:52

I have had my eye on these for ages. www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/buckleup-leather-back-strap-sandals-p-T06#001 I need a strap at the back and they would fit in with my work wardrobe perfectly

I also fancy the leather H sandals but they are sold out in my size

TolstoyAteMyHamster · 18/04/2019 07:54

The Barra in gold would be the perfect replacement for a much mourned pair from Clarks which finally bit the dust last year. I tried some on and loved them but haven’t been able to justify the cost recently (plus it hasn’t been gold shoe weather!). But they’d be perfect for our May holiday in Sicily, and so comfortable.

TooMuchEyeliner · 18/04/2019 07:57

I would go for either the Barra sandals in brown or the Lena loafers in black - something that I could wear for work to make the hot summer days more bearable and comfortable.

Suenahmi · 18/04/2019 07:57

I would buy the BARRA
Dotted-Snake Leather Back-Strap Sandals
I have never had a pair of fit floos but seriously tempted now

ellaballoo · 18/04/2019 07:58

BARRA in the palm leaf design look perfect for me ... although I also need some new work shoes .

Bloomburger · 18/04/2019 08:01

I like https://www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/rally-snake-print-leather-sneakers-p-U44#194 these] . To be honest, and this is probably not going to mark me out fir a win, I'd not wear any of the sandals, flip, flops or other shoes, they all look a bit middle aged and orthotic 😬

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 18/04/2019 08:01

The Tias are very pretty and we're recommended on another thread.

lfoatw2 · 18/04/2019 08:07

Tiera as I cant keep flip flops on but would like something that is more open to keep my feet cool. Plus they look nicer than my normal sandals!

smallchair · 18/04/2019 08:08

I would love the BUCKLEUP with the back strap in tan, think they would go great with chinos for the office in summer

30not13 · 18/04/2019 08:09

I'd get a pair of gold Covas, I love sandals but hate my toes out and it's rare to find closed toe styles that aren't totally gopping Grin

TurquoiseDress · 18/04/2019 08:09

The Twiss ones in midnight navy look absolutely fabulous for the summer!

I've not bought Fit Flops in years, they used to be my summer staple!

ivykaty44 · 18/04/2019 08:10

Lottie looks so pretty, love the bright colours!

ConorMcGregorsChin · 18/04/2019 08:13

Scallop for me. Or Barely. Both look glamorous yet comfy. Perfect combo!

SparklingSaskia · 18/04/2019 08:14

Halo tortoiseshell for me please.
