Will Kate emerge from her Norfolk seclusion sporting a bigger than ever Alice band? Will the Mail and Express stories about Meghan get more ludicrous by the day? And will this thread see the arrival of Baby Sussex? All will be revealed in due course...

What was the point of spending huge amounts of money renovating Frogmore if they're going to go and live in Africa anyway? I think this is just all made up.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/04/2019 14:33

It’s not like the RF just have the one home each.
Harry will probably inherit Highgrove as well.
I hope Meghan is having a good laugh at all these stories.

AnneEyhtMeyer · 22/04/2019 14:35

I think the Africa story is a false one planted by the BP men in suits as a way of putting H&M in their place after the Oprah stuff.

I thought Catherine looked the spit of Carole on Sunday. Bea almost got it right but her outfit was too tight on her. I despair of the way they dress poor Louise. No teenager would wear that.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 22/04/2019 14:50

I despair of the way they dress poor Louise. No teenager would wear that. She looked very matronly in that frock. The hat/fascinator thing was ridiculously small too. Sophie needs to take a leaf out of Queen Letizia's book when it comes to dressing tweenage girls appropriately.

Wetdogloveshubert · 22/04/2019 15:35

Louise is old enough to decide for herself though - I remember taking advice from my Mum, but not being swayed away from a style that I really liked.

Re: the head of the commonwealth, Charles was elected as next head last year. Link: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_of_the_Commonwealth

Interesting to note that William didn't bow at the church - with Charles absent it's possible they had a powwow. William's going to have been having lessons from HM for a few years I should have thought, in preparation.

I wonder if Kate and William stayed locally for the service? If they stayed with H&M there'd be no need for the catch-up on the walk to church...

Horsemad · 22/04/2019 16:03

Why were Charles & Camilla absent, anyone know?

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 22/04/2019 16:08

They had a hangover 🤣

@QueenOfTheAndals in case you haven't got a title for the next thread: 'Where is this baby?'

Horsemad · 22/04/2019 16:30

Haha, re hangover! 😆

QueenOfTheAndals · 22/04/2019 17:38

C&C spend Easter in Scotland, apparently. Though they may well have been hungover too!

@NewModelArmyMayhem18 It seems to be a British royal thing - Beatrice and Eugenie were dressed like little matrons at that age too.

Edward had on his usual double breasted suit at the Easter service.

Twisique · 22/04/2019 17:53

I thought Harry's suit looked a better fit than recent suits. They all seemed really happy.

QueenOfTheAndals · 22/04/2019 18:05

Edward is never going to ditch those @beanaseireann, even though they don't do anything for him. He's still fairly slim so a single-breasted jacket would look much better.

Obviously Kate or Meghan haven't told Sophie about your threads on Mumsnet and the great sartorial advice various posters give !

Thesearmsofmine · 22/04/2019 19:07

I don’t think Edward is too bothered about clothes tbh!
I always imagine that Louise is happiest in her casual clothes and just maybe the formal clothes are left to her mum to decide.

I thought Kate looked lovely and Harry too.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 22/04/2019 19:58

I was thinking earlier about Louise's dress, it really did nothing for her but when trying to think of suitable alternatives I drew a blank. Maybe there's a gap in the market for an enterprising designer, garden party wear for teens! If we had a "Choose an outfit for Lady Lou" game, what would you pick?

Butterymuffin · 22/04/2019 20:15

That first one's nice. I doubt anything sleeveless or strappy would get approved. Sophie seems to favour dark colours for occasions even when others go brighter - thinking of her navy-but-looked-black dress at I think Eugenie's wedding.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 22/04/2019 20:31

I agree, @Butterymuffin. The first one posted by Stravapalava is really pretty and very suitable for Louise's age. They really should have asked us!

The second one is also sweet but for a more confident girl I think.

Apparently Doria has arrived in London

Stravapalava · 22/04/2019 20:55

He's lush and I love his little doggy jumper.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 22/04/2019 21:10

Louis is so cute & looks just like Kate & Charlotte.
