Will Kate emerge from her Norfolk seclusion sporting a bigger than ever Alice band? Will the Mail and Express stories about Meghan get more ludicrous by the day? And will this thread see the arrival of Baby Sussex? All will be revealed in due course...

Also I don’t see her having baby in London as they don’t have a proper London base anymore. Will have to drive an hour back and forth before going into labour and taking baby home. Too much of a risk with press cottoning on. Think more likely they will do closeby. I remember that Kate was photographed in labour walking into hospital, the photo was neb published but I don’t think they’d they take that chance.

I think it's royal protocol to have the birth notice pinned to the gates at Buckingham Palace so I doubt they'd not do that.

I can definitely see a black and white baby foot photo to accompany the initial Instagram/Twitter/ media announcement, the frame outside Buckingham Palace and then another set of photographs when the baby is named.

Anyone else checking the Pregnancy boards just in case? Grin

I think they’ll have Alexi Lubomirski who did their engagement and wedding photos photograph the new baby. Apparently he’s a polish prince; HSH.

I think there will probably be a black and white shot of them both gazing at the baby. Then a few more released a few days later.

Royal Website announcement for birth of Lena Tindall. ( Zara is called “Mrs Michael Tindall”.

Interesting that the birth announcement of Prince Louis was signed by all the doctors. I wonder if they will have the same for Baby Sussex?

I really cannot believe they will announce when Meghan is in Labour. It’s really not necessary. Just let us know when the baby has arrived safely.

I was also thinking Brad and Angelina Style. But in b&w so people can’t start speculating whether the baby is ginger etc.

I think that as they’re not doing the photo call, there will be expectation from the media. If they only release one photo I think there will annoyance from media.

They said that Sophie had a cesarean in the announcement for James, so they might with Meghan. I wonder if it will list the parents that have been informed?

Don’t the doctors/midwives ‘deliver’ the baby while the mother ‘births’ (or ‘gives birth to’ which sounds a lot better)? Though ‘delivers’ is an odd word all round really

“Safely delivered of” is the traditional wording.

They never use the word "pregnant" either. It's always "expecting a baby".

Well, all this talk of having a baby and leaving the hospital several hours later, hair and make up perfect, makes me think there is something in the surrogate theories after all.

I know someone who observed Kate visiting a school when the cameras weren't around and said she just walked straight into the school and ignored the kids who'd lined up to meet her. Which was quite different to her visit to another school earlier in the day where she was filmed chatting to the kids and showing them photos of her family.
