I love some of their ‘fake’ (or platinum plated) rings , that I can wear every day , but wondered where else stocks vaguely convincing sparkly rings.

Qvc diamonique?

googlegoals · 05/04/2019 22:09

Carat London.

HermioneWeasley · 06/04/2019 01:20

I recommend carat and QVC diamonique, and also lots of independent jewellers on Etsy

Justheretogiveaviewfrommyworld · 06/04/2019 10:43

Lovissa has some nice ones and not too £££

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 06/04/2019 10:56

i have a couple of QVC blingers, it's amazing how many people have complimented them

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 06/04/2019 10:59

oooh and I LOVE reading the reviews...so so many people buying the many carat whatevers because "I am going on a fancy cruise and my insurance doesn't cover my REAL one" "I wear this IDENTICAL ring to my engagement ring so I do not damage the original"

So many excuses :o

I bought mine cos I like vulgar bling and am too cheap and careless to pay good money :o

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 06/04/2019 11:00

I have rings and other jewellery from Tru Diamonds and from Brilliant Inc and they are very nice. Very good value when they have a sale on too.

ladyratterley · 06/04/2019 11:03

Accessorize have a few in their sterling silver range, although you may have to go in store to look at them as I can’t seem to find them online.
I’m thinking of getting one with an emerald cut stone in for holidays rather than wearing my expensive engagement ring.

ladyratterley · 06/04/2019 11:05

Hopefully this photo attaches!
Mightytitan I hadn’t read your post befor I posted and am now laughing at myself Grin

ladyratterly :o :o

tbf I don't tell people they are fake, unless they ask, but generally I find people are too well mannered for that.

except my mum's neighbour who wondered aloud to my mother about "where all my money came from" after she spotted my new investment

AuntieStella · 06/04/2019 11:28

TruDiamonds are pretty good.

I've had some nice stuff recently from Monsoon (Accessorise?) and don't overlook Argos.

Are you my MIL? She's converted me - I don't wear huge amounts of jewellery, but have a monster trilogy 'diamond' ring and love it!

ladyratterley · 06/04/2019 11:49

That’s a bargain Mightytitan!

Usuallyinthemiddle · 06/04/2019 12:00

QVC!

BubblesBuddy · 06/04/2019 12:05

Carat. Easily the best.

ladyratterley · 06/04/2019 14:03

The closest one to my engagement ring at Carat costs £679 which defeats the point a bit for me. I guess it’s bevause the settings are 9k gold, but they seem quite expensive for what they are.
They have some gorgeous stuff though!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/04/2019 15:39

QVC - I have bought Diamonique for over 20 years , it is really good. I have only ever sent back a couple of things (one was too 'bright white' in silver, I prefer platinum plate . )

One pair of DD earrings lost a stone and were refunded no problems .

Have a browse online , if you want subtle then the Michele Mone range or the Tova range aint for you Grin

(I bought a well blinging Diamonique tanzanite/clear ring but not worn it yet )

Only blight is the P&P and the delivery time .

What are you looking for in particular ?

popcorndiva · 06/04/2019 15:41

Boots do some lovely fake rings

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 06/04/2019 15:45

that's very dear ladyratterley ....they do have real not plated gold on QVC, but not that pricey.

that one I linked to earlier, is not exactly mine, I think mine was a michelle mone, but it's "white gold" and a knuckle duster trilogy :o

I am going to peruse QVC for my afternoon entertainment!

OhioOhioOhio · 06/04/2019 15:49

Is qvc reliable? I've never seen anything by them before.

BubblesBuddy · 06/04/2019 16:10

The sets of rings can be over £600 but many single rings are half that price. If you don’t have a safe, wear and insure the real thing! Why fake your engagement ring?

FreiasBathtub · 06/04/2019 16:11

I like the Elanza range on The Jewellery Channel, pretty sure I got the recommendation from here in the first place! Very cheap and some really nice designs (as well as some absolute horrors, it must be said...)
