I love some of their ‘fake’ (or platinum plated) rings , that I can wear every day , but wondered where else stocks vaguely convincing sparkly rings.

Is qvc reliable? I've never seen anything by them before

You can get the QVC channel (ours is on 740) or online qvcuk.com (The parent company is in the USA , been going years , in fact qvcuk has been going since '93)

The only downside is one of the presenters annoys the Bejesus out of my - I won't tell you which you will spot them Grin .-

I often watch the demo videos then buy things , I don't like going into a High Street Store and be pounced on or ignored .

A load of things are more expensive , some are cheaper . But there is a 30 Day Money Back Guarentee

And Liverpool based call centre who are all lovely and helpful (well I cannot verify all of them but the ones I have dealt with over the years )

Diamonique used to be in 14k gold (popular in USA) But as gold is so £££ they have change more to 9ct or vermeil (plated) on silver but it will be evident in the description.

And no, I don't work for them Wink

Accessorize jewellry is flimsy . Often broken on the display card before its even been worn.

I have bought some for my DD when she was younger (she's nearly 17 now) bracelet , necklace , earrings in the sterling silver but it is extremely fragile .

I bought a really nice one in Goldsmiths for my mum to wear.
I removed her real ones for safe keeping when she was in hospital but she had dementia and got upset that she had lost them, so the fake ones comforted her.

Marking place. I have a lovely necklace from M&S that I always get compliments on. One of The stones has fallen out so I'm looking for a replacement. Ive got small subtle stuff that most people assume is real.

Cheerybigbottom · 06/04/2019 16:42

Pandora or Warren James?

TarragonSauce · 06/04/2019 18:30

I have quite a few pieces of QVC Diamonique from the 90s when they were doing 14ct gold. Gosh, those night feeds proved expensive.
But it does look good, as long as you don't go above half carat.

QVC are having a "Diamonique Day" today ( 11th) - you might pick yourself up a nice little bauble ?

I ordered an eternity ring for my Wedding Anniversary, very subtle , 9ct gold with small diamonique stones. I showed DH and he said "Ok, order it " Grin

MinesaPinot · 11/04/2019 08:47

QVC Diamonique definitely. When I lost the stone out of my engagement ring I wore a Diamonique one with my wedding ring and everyone thought DH had bought me a new engagement ring.

Cocollepew · 11/04/2019 08:55

Warren James has some lovely ones, very shiny.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 11/04/2019 09:02

I bought a gold-on-silver plated chain for DD from Warren James ( she wanted a gold chain and I'm far too skinflinty to pay out £££ on something she might go off or lose Hmm )

They had 9ct chains that were hair breadth fine (so would last two minutes)
The silver/gold one was more substantial but lasted 4 months before it tarnished beyond saving .

I've had gold plated earrings (QVC) that get worn 24/7 , through showering , sleep, etc , no tarnishing .

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 11/04/2019 11:43

well you are quite the temptress 70isalimit I may have ordered a tennis bracelet....however it's on Waitlist and the site is playing sillybuggers with my new card details, so I tried a different one, apparently to no avail, according to the QVC site, but just had a £zero authorisation text for the different card so who knows!

If it doesn't turn up I'll wait till my birthday!

princessTiasmum · 11/04/2019 12:36

Warren James have some lovely Swarovski [sp] rings, very reasonable

SapphireSeptember · 11/04/2019 14:42

New Look and Sainbo's both have some lovely bling that I've bought (rose gold plated with cubic zirconia.) I want a real rose gold ring with CZ but can't find one I like.

Someone mentioned Boots which I agree with, I've had some nice stuff from them too. Smile

CMOTDibbler · 11/04/2019 15:20

I have some earrings from Heavenly Necklaces which are really good

KaliforniaDreamz · 11/04/2019 16:10
