I've not seen a thread like this in a while!

My wardrobe is the equivalent of Groundhog Day so I need some inspiration to spark it up a bit, especially with regards to accessories!

Anyone watched Years And Years on BBC? I’m trying to identify that really colourful silk dress that Celeste wears in the first and last episodes.

Been stuck in jeans and T’s here. Dug out a scarf I haven’t worn for a few years, green and purple. Livens up the boring T’s.

I’m starting a job next month, yay. Only part time but it’s better than nothing.

I am getting some serious inspiration (and envy at your lovely figures obviously ) from these, I’d love to have the confidence to throw on a load of bangles and necklaces on the school run but inevitably it is a jumper and jeans

@fashiondevotee thank you for the compliment. I don't work in fashion, im a bit all over the shop with my style I just wear what I like rather than follow any fashion advice 😬 which quite a lot of the time results in me looking very over dressed 😂

Today I’m wearing a black casual maternity jumpsuit (Newlook - new), leopard print jersey headband (Accessorize- new), chain mail sandals (M&S - old). I had my colour analysis back & im an Autumn. Luckily I’m already drawn to most of the colours but it means giving up black & my beloved light grey. Since pretty much all of my maternity clothes are black or grey I’ll just have to get my fix for the next couple of months.

@NottonightJosepheen Does it make shopping much easier?? I’m already window shopping (online) & enjoying filtering everything by my colours & enjoying what I see. I’m looking forward to rebuilding my wardrobe in my new colours once I’m back in shape. I’ve tried to create an Autumn thread in S&B so feel free to join!

well I already loved khaki, mustard, burgundy, burnt orange - colours that I was told “lift” my complexion (I knew that already because I have green eyes & I love what burgundy eyeliners does to my eyes!). But when I look at photos I can definitely see how pastels like light grey wash me out. I think I will continue wearing black but with Autumn accessories while I make the transition. There are some gorgeous outfits on my Pinterest board which have shown me that I don’t need to wear black (there’s a link on my thread).

To be honest I find most colours are ok - I do avoid certain shades of blue (bright royal blue), pale pinks and some pastel greens.

A flowery jumpsuit from Whistles that looks like Pyjamas. With handy patch pockets. It is black with pink, red, white, green and yellow flowers.

And some sequinned Paul Smith mesh mule slippers from the noughties I bought off eBay recently. They had been at the back of someone’s cupboard for a while.

I do not plan on going out today. Maybe the garden for a bit if it brightens up some.

I really like what I’m wearing today. Off to work but meeting my BFF for lunch so thought I’d make the effort! Wearing black short sleeve playsuit (ASOS maternity - new), khaki waterfall short cardigan (Dorothy Perkins- old), cream/black/tan leopard print headband (Oliver Bonas- new), tan plaited strappy sandals (M&S- old), beige mac (Dorothy Perkins- old). Hopefully the khaki & creams near my face warm the black a little.

Yes I wear black all the time @happytobemrsg - I've always considered black to be a bit of an all rounder.

Bit of a comedown from Iris, but today I have on a cornflower polka dot blouse with pintucked bodice and girlfriend jeans, very old and wearing out a bit, with lined hem cuffs in pale blue ticking.
