Anne is always out and about, in Cambridge on Friday www.cambstimes.co.uk/news/princess-anne-visits-metalcraft-in-chatteris-1-5966797 Not much you can say about her fashion though....... like the colour, hate the shoes.

I have said before that I think there is more going on and I think everyone is being very supportive and respectful of all parties involved. We don’t know if the rumours are true but I believe there is no smoke without fire. William has form for suing and he isn’t at the moment although these allegations are damaging to him and his wife and family. Also Meghan isn’t on the scene at present, Kate and William do not do many engagements, and I would like these threads to continue even if the content is not primarily fashion.

UrsulaPandress · 01/04/2019 12:29

What a lot of coats.

Rhubarbisevil · 01/04/2019 12:49

Camilla Long is very funny but very nasty. She’s been writing bitchy articles about the Middletons for years and I strongly suspect that it is a case of “if you can’t join them, beat them into the ground at every opportunity.” She is jealous because she wanted to be Princess Camilla.

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/04/2019 12:51

Camilla Long blocked me on Twitter ages ago. I can't remember why, I think perhaps I commented disparagingly about an article she'd written but at no point did I @ her. Which means she's one of those tedious people who vanity searches!

Oh good, she might google her name and this thread will come up.
CAMILLA LONG - change the record,love - you’re boring.

Watch out for an article in The Times berating the lazy arsed women on Mumsnet who have nothing better to do than be keyboard warriors: written by Camilla Long.

Paradyning · 01/04/2019 13:39

@Rhubarbisevil Grin

It's so interesting seeing Meg's outfits together like that. She really does love her navy.
I love that black Wickstead dress she wore in NZ
Pom Pom not so much

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/04/2019 14:09

Thanks for the photos @frugalkitty, I think overall Meghan's had more hits than misses. She does love her black, beige and navy but there's a fair bit of colour there too.

Seeing all Meghan's outfits together she's definitely had more hits than misses for me and I'm looking forward to seeing her post pregnancy look

queenofarles · 01/04/2019 14:48

Genuine Question here I’ve had a look at Nicole Cliffe twitter, Ive never heard of her before . she mostly writes about pets, and she has a parenting column on slate magazine. And suddenly she writes about this ? Or have I missed something , is she an avid royal follower? Friends with Giles? Friends with the friend rose confessed to?

BlingLoving · 01/04/2019 15:02

Please please fill me on the Giles thing. Please!? Begging here.

I think the pregnancy thing was a surprise for Meghan (everyone told her at 38 her fertility had fallen off a cliff and so they started trying straight away, and bang, it happened. Hahaha. I could have warned her - my fertility specialist gave me a whole lecture on this). And as a result she was trying to find her Duchess style while simultaneously trying to get her maternity style sorted. And her body shape changed such a lot while pregnant, that didn't help at all. Hence the mix of hits and misses. And for the purposes of events and photography, the sort of soft floatier things Kate wore work better, but that's just not her style (although as a Californian, I'd have thought she'd be up for a few boho style dresses!).

queenofarles · 01/04/2019 15:07

bling ,I’m not sure if someone here linked to it or I read it elsewhere , but basically he says , that’s it’s an affair going on . He deleted his tweet quickly .

mrscampbellblackagain · 01/04/2019 15:16

Giles Coren just responded to a twitter conversation between Hadley Freemand and Sophie something or other coutts who were discussing the subtext of the Kate falling out with Rose articles. Giles said he knew about the affair and everyone did. To me it reads like some US commentators think Giles has inside royal knowledge - I think this is very unlikely personally.

mrscampbellblackagain · 01/04/2019 15:19

Lordy there are a lot of crazies on twitter. I read the comments under a tweet by Camilla Long and people stating as fact that Carole and Pippa are behind all the anti-Meghan press.

I mean I know on this thread we like to discuss the fashion and debate a bit on the gossipy articles but we all know it is just speculation.

TyraAllen · 01/04/2019 15:52

There's a massive sense on a lot of the US gossip sites that Carol M is some sort of Kris Kardashian/Dinah Lohan type of stage mother who is ruthlessly controlling everything, including the Palace, which just seems...unlikely to me!

sheikhandbake · 01/04/2019 16:03

Longtime lurker here - Camilla Long seems to have form for this. I remember a mean nasty column about the Middleton’s apparent love for attending weddings. I think she had attended a wedding they were also guests at and managed to string a column out of it.

On a nicer note I found the Heavenly Necklaces website thanks to this thread and asked for these for my birthday (apologies for the poor quality pic). Absolutely delighted with them and feel very duchessy when wearing them Grin. Thank you for the inspiration!

its amazing to me that if all these women are so good at manipulating situations, more women aren't in positions of power throughout our society....

Sigh.

Thanks for Giles update. He's a prat.

queenofarles · 01/04/2019 16:05

Whenever I read any of these U.S based twitter threads, it’s all team Meghan vs Team Kate, to me there is absolutely nothing more pathetic. Makes you wonder about the level of maturity of these posters.

GrumbleBumble · 01/04/2019 16:09

There are just a lot of batshit crazy people when it comes to the RF. Several years ago I read an online comment under a picture Camilla that said "no wonder George prefers his real granny Carole to this (insert rude, insulting term here I can't remember what it was)". Quite why this random woman thought she knew the preferences of a two year old she'd never met wasn't clear but she was absolutely certain that George hated Camilla.

mrscampbellblackagain · 01/04/2019 16:09

Indeed - it is like they think it is Alexis v Krystle all over again [grin}

itswinetime · 01/04/2019 17:19

So as the rumours continue and seem to be less and less hinted at more and more out spoken does anyone think we will see an official comment on it?

Anything less than a full on denial will be seen (probably correctly as an admission of guilt). And while I don't think a statement would stop all the rumours surely we are getting to the point where saying nothing is also going to be seen as an admission of guilt?

I know the palace is notoriously tight lipped re commenting on rumours ect but they denied some of the Meghan ones publicly and sure this is more potentially damaging?
