What’s your everyday casual jewellery?

I miss wearing jewellery everyday, I used to when I worked in an office but now I feel like none of my stuff is casual enough- dangly earrings are too bling for my ancient ripped jeans, for example.

So right now, I am wearing aforementioned old jeans, black t shirt, purple hoodie. Anyone got any jewellery that doesn’t look “too much” with that kind of outfit?

I love the sound of the Slytherin necklace! I find I wear more brighter, silver jewellery in winter to contrast with darker, heavier clothes and more pewter/leather slightly boho jewellery in summer to contrast with lighter clothes, if that makes sense. I'm currently trying to replace cheaper bangles with proper silver ones. I might wear more rings in summer, when they're not under gloves, as mine tend to be of the statement/cocktail variety,

Wedding ring, engagement ring an eternity ring all on my left hand. I never take them off. If I'm feeling posh and up together I wear pearl Tiffany studs or diamond studs DH bought me which match the design of my engagement ring. That's it!

On a day to day basis, I wear:

Engagement ring and wedding ring
Small diamond solitaire on right hand
Rose gold watch and two plain silver chains (one from my husband, one from my group of dearest friends for my 30th) on my left wrist.

I gave up on earrings and necklaces when my baby was born! These only come out for special occasions now.

At work I have to wear an nhs uniform so I just wear 1 or 2 pairs of stud earrings with a silver chain & my SOS pendant (I have Epilepsy so I'm allowed to wear it).

On a normal day like today I wear 1 pair of stud earrings & 1 pair of dangly earrings or hoops.

A silver chain & pendant eg today I'm wearing a moonstone.

My silver twisted bangle that I wear all the time but not at work, & a pale blue beaded bracelet with a silver feather.

My rose gold DKNY watch.

A turquoise & silver anklet (if not wearing boots).

A silver & pink Swarovski crystal ring.

I love wearing jewellery. None of my jewellery is probably worth more than £100 a piece except my silver Thomas Sabo charm bracelet, but I don't mind.

It's usually either given to me as presents or I buy it from Essential, from Accessorize or from a local boutique called Sugar Mango (they sell decent silver jewellery online).

I recently got a range of simple round glass studs from glassybitsdesign on etsy - non fussy, nice colours and well made. She does plain see through, opaque and ones that seem to have some texture and shimmer. There is some cast silvery stuff on the site too but I’ve not tried that.

I’m currently wearing penis shaped studs that my dsis got me for Christmas that I actually quite like. Then a plain silver with a diamond necklace dh got me, which I often swap with a bee necklace from Alex
Monroe. I also wear my wedding and engagement ring on one hand then on my other a couple of rings that family have given me and a few stacking rings from Carrie Elizabeth on my ring finger.

I love jewellery. I wear wedding and engagement ring on left hand, and eternity ring on right. Ebel watch with rectangular face. Then various necklaces and earrings that I alternate.

I would love an Alex Monroe necklace, especially a bee one.

Rings are my thing - buying loads on FB lately & have some real bargains. I don’t mind wearing fairly posh ones everyday. I wear wedding, eternity & engagement rings on my left hand then either a fancy ring on the 4th finger of my right hand or a larger posh ring on my middle right finger. I often wear a simple gold or silver pendant, more elaborate on non work days. I have shedloads of jewellery but probably wear less than a quarter of it regularly

judge they’re ones like this. I don’t think they’re too obviously willies but they just amuse me in a very infantile way.

I wear square white gold stud earrings, a Rado watch (all black), wedding ring & engagement ring and on the other hand I wear my eternity ring.

I feel a bit "boring" most days. Need to get some necklaces I think.

silver overlap bangle which I haven't taken off since I was 13.

Occasionally wear other layering pendant necklaces as and when.

diamond circle of life necklace. Diamond solitaire ear studs. Wedding ring, three stone ring on my left hand, diamond daisy cluster ring and my dad’s wedding ring on the other hand. Diamond friendship style tennis bracelet in rose gold on one wrist. Fitbit with a rose gold look strap on the other one. It’s all very simple, very classic and goes with anything from an evening dress (rare) to jeans and a t shirt (more usual).

Engagement and wedding rings always. With really really casual as in hoodie and trainers I wouldn’t wear any other jewellery apart from a sports watch. Tbh I think hoodie plus jewellery verges on the clown doll pendant plus shell suit look.
With slightly less casual, eg jeans and tshirt or jumper I wear a small silver pendant or a chain bracelet, maybe both. No earrings though, I generally only bother with them if I’m dressing up a bit more.

I never remove my platinum wedding band and platinum solitaire diamond engagement ring. Also usually wear sterling silver star ear climbers from Etsy and this sterling silver spinner ring from Etsy.

@hatetheschoolrun It looks very similar to this. Victorians would use them with a perfume rag inside the locket to mask the smell of bad hygiene (I don't have bad hygiene btw )

That's beautiful Whynham although I think they originate from earlier times according to this (epic!) link. I have the one in the picture and I love it. I wore it all the time but, apart from the odd pair of earrings, I don't really wear silver any more. Also it was a gift from an ex. I'm not the seller BTW. They're so pretty aren't they?

I suspected that they might be it was the jeweller who told me it was from that era. I would have thought that they are made new in an old style. I think they're beautiful.

I normally wear what are functionally my wedding and engagement rings (they're not the original ones):

and one silver ring on the other hand, not always the same one, usually with a small smooth semi-precious stone.

Silver earrings which change all the time, studs or drops, sometimes with stones or beads. Only one pair as I've only ever had one set of holes.

I don't wear necklaces all that much but I sometimes wear a pendant with a nice piece of creamish coloured shell in it.

Sometimes wear a few bangles, mixed and matched to suit an outfit, but I'm not really going through a bangley phase at the moment. I get all of those from charity shops.

I always wear a watch and it's either a plain classic rectangular one with a black strap or a white Ice watch, depending on how sporty the day is going to be.
