Comfiest trousers you can get away with going out of the house in

Hello, I wondered if I could get some links to comfy trousers (track pant comfy), that I could get away with going out in (school, supermarket etc). I don’t find activewear THAT comfy as is quite “compressiony” and tight. Any help appreciated. Thanks

I quite fancy a leopard print pair, @MollysLips. I have two pairs of black ones and a pair of blue geometric/floral patterned ones.

I hope they’ve had a sudden upsurge in orders and are puzzling over why! I think they’re quite a small company, I’ve only seen their stuff stocked in one shop so far.

Echo PPs about the amazingness of this thread. Quick question about white Co joggers - what size do you order? Are they giant like Hush?

Thestral · 24/03/2019 22:13

@twirlywhoops I find White Company a little on the large size - go down a size if you're in between!

Girlinstripedpyjamas · 25/03/2019 21:19

Which white company trousers please? Looking on eBay now. Comfort is key. I’m small and round too but no money for Hush sadly

Pinkarsedfly · 26/03/2019 08:35

Ellapaella that is such a pretty top. Where is it from, please?

Alwayscheerful · 26/03/2019 08:48

@AlannaOfTrebond , I have been looking for the stylist hiker thread can you remind me of the title please?

@AlannaOfTrebond thank you!

Ellapaella · 26/03/2019 18:32

@Pinkarsedfly it's from New Look, fairly recent but doesn't seem to be online anymore

applesarerroundandshiny · 26/03/2019 19:21

I also love the Next jersey joggers linked by cottonsock. They are pretty much the same as the harem's they did a couple of years ago but last year added a draw string and renamed them 'joggers' .

I bought some patterned harem trousers from Primark last year but they bobbled really quickly and became uncomfortable next to my skin.

applesarerroundandshiny · 26/03/2019 19:25

@NoParticularPattern are the Next 'jersey leggings' actually made of jersey material or are they jeggings (i.e. Stretchy denim)? I've been looking at them on line and reading the reviews and they sound like stretchy jeggings but if that's the case I can't work out why they say they are jersey!!!

Shantotto · 26/03/2019 19:32

Sorry another Hush harem question! I’m 6ft, size 18. I have a 36” inside leg! On the website it says the inside leg is 28” - do they sit quite low? I can’t imagine I’ll fit into any!

Ellapaella · 26/03/2019 21:46

@Shantotto if you look at my picture below I am wearing my Hush harems and I am 5'7, they are not that long in the leg as you can see. They are fairly high on the waist - but sure they would really be long enough for you. I think (but I'm not sure) that they sometimes do a longer length but I have a feeling that's the Amie joggers and not the harems.

Ellapaella · 26/03/2019 21:47

Sorry *not sure they would be long enough for you

Ellapaella · 26/03/2019 21:54

@Shantotto actually they do do a longer length! https://www.hush-uk.com/womenswear/daywear/trousersshorts/longharemtrousers1_black.htm

eightyeightmilesperhour · 27/03/2019 10:59

I bought these from Sainsbury's recently and they are amazingly comfortable and smart too! And a bargain for £16.

oohyoudevilyou · 28/03/2019 09:26

^^ I'm going to start calling my trousers of choice "pantalon de jogging", sounds way more chic than trackies! Smile

cooldarkroom · 28/03/2019 10:29

Yes, sorry I put link from EU website ! they have lots of cheap pantalon de jogging !

Footle · 29/03/2019 10:13

Je vais compléter mon look.

bakingdemon · 02/04/2019 23:18

@AlannaOfTrebond wish I'd thought of that username!

timeisnotaline · 08/07/2019 23:24

@margaritasbythesea what is the sizing like on the M&S ones?

grownup2 · 09/07/2019 00:07

Can I recommend my new favourite comfies - the deep waist stays put without any constriction - and sooo soft

margaritasbythesea · 09/07/2019 00:18

I took a 10 as I usually do in m and s. I'm often a 12 in other places.
