Has anyone used. Beauty Pie? What do you think of the products?
I'm looking for a good hyaluronic acid serum and a retinol serum- can anyone recommend one?

www.beautypie.com
Thanks!

Almost all the serums contain some hyaluronic. Currently using the Triple version, which I think is pretty good, but I alternate it with the Uber-Youth serum. Haven't used retinols. The JapanFusion Hydrating toner is also a good add, but out of stock ATM.

Thanks xingming!

The Japanfusion serum is excellent. The retinol serum and night cream are good.

SimoneStrasser · 15/03/2019 19:45

I love Beauty Pie.

The serums, the cleanser, make up and perfume ; all great quality and fab!

Housewife2010 · 15/03/2019 21:32

The eyeshadow sticks are excellent and easily as good as Bobbi Brown's and Laura Mercier's. The Japanfusion cleanser is fab and similar to Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel.

LaPampa · 16/03/2019 00:25

I’m using the retinol eye cream which seems good. Not sure I have anything to compare it to but the price was good.

ImperfectTents · 16/03/2019 06:02

I love their retinol serum but have been waiting months for the Japan stuff to come back in stock and am losing patience. I will probably quit

Housewife2010 · 16/03/2019 07:33

I get fed up that I wait ages for things I want to come back into stock, then the other things I want to order with them are then out of stock too. They hype up new products and when they are going to arrive, but don't give the price so I don't feel I can do an earlier order ( to get other items I want before it sells out) incase I run out of enough spending allowance for the new item. The members are aware that favourite items sell out; they are currently binge buying the finally restocked Japanfusion cleanser, so it will soon be out of stock for those of us waiting to order it with other long awaited items.

FullMetalMouth · 16/03/2019 08:50

The Japan fusion cleanser is back in stock. I checked after posting here!

Calvinsmam · 16/03/2019 08:54

Yeah the stock issues are super annoying, and the fact they are encouraging binge buying on their social media is giving me the rage.
They’re saying that they’ve sorted their supply so even with binge buying it’ll remain in stock, so why tell people to buy more than one??

Their products are really good quality but it’s difficult to keep a routine going.
I’ve ended up having to buy stuff other places anyway.

Elllllle · 16/03/2019 08:58

Anyone else getting sick of the beautypie threads? I feel like.there is a new one every week asking whether posters rate them. It seems such a massive scam to me. If they are that good, why cant they just have a regular website that you dont have to prepay/subscribe for?

FullMetalMouth · 16/03/2019 09:01

It isn't a scam. It's group buying which means you do get good products for a good price. I am temporarily Ppeased now I have the japanfusion stuff

NewIdeasToday · 16/03/2019 09:04

It may not be for everyone but it’s certainly not a scam. They have loads on great products and I’m really enjoying trying new things like face masks and serums.

Elllllle · 16/03/2019 09:08

When you say you can try new things like face masks and serums, do you mean you can return if you don't like them?

Elllllle · 16/03/2019 09:11

I honestly don't get it, I'm not trying to be a pita btw. I read online reviews and go on forums and buy the best beauty stuff (for my budget) across a range of brands. I don't want to have to buy a certain (unverified generally) brand (that you can't sample in store) just because I've paid for a subscription.

I don't like he look of the Japan range as he moisturisers/serums they advertise as having vitamin c in them. I would never use a vitamin c product that wasn't dedicated vit c with the correct protective packaging otherwise it just degrades.

chimpandzee · 16/03/2019 11:57

I think it's excellent. I've been using it for about 18 months and have stopped buying products from anywhere else. I'm saving a fortune, as someone who used to buy high-end skincare, even with the monthly subscription. The issue of stock can be a pain but I tend to buy my favourites in plenty of time before I run out, so that if something is out of stock I still manage to order before I have nothing left. I'm particularly fond of the super retinol range especially the hand cream and the face serums. Love the triple hyluronic serum, and the plantastic drops. Also the 5 minute exfoliating glycolic mask. I think you obviously need to be happy with the concept of a monthly subscription - and realise that you also pay shipping on top - but even so, the cost and quality of the products makes it a no brainer for me.

Newtobusiness · 16/03/2019 22:41

Oh no I'm not a bot or from Beauty Pie.

I just wanted to know how others rated the quality of the products. They are so affordable and they sound very good.

The fact they are out of stock as lot isn't good. But I might give it a go for a few months Smile

Elllllle · 17/03/2019 07:34

Why are you giving it a go rather than trying the million other retinol and HA serums recommended on here? (And everywhere)

EveryoneFreeze · 17/03/2019 07:47

I tried it and it didn’t agree with my skin. Went back to the higher end brands. Waste of money!!!

Newtobusiness · 17/03/2019 09:33

Elllllle
Because the prices are affordable. A friend told me their products are created based on big name brands formula, so they are very similar, but a fraction of the cost...

EveryoneFreeze That's good to know!

Apologies OP if I got it wrong. It's just a tactic of BP ..

I find how they market extremely disingenuous. Who says that serum you can purchase for £5.98 is worth £85? Beauty Pie by any chance?! It's a figure plucked out of thin air.

I've used a fair bit of their stuff. It's not a patch on the branded stuff that it's purporting to be like. All
Smoke and mirrors if you ask me

BatFacedGal · 17/03/2019 09:44

(I was megabit btw. Not trying to pull wool over anyone's eyes!)

Didiusfalco · 17/03/2019 09:51

they are so affordable and sound very good. No, you’re not promoting it at all. Of course you’re not.
