I'm very tempted, but the price is crazy! I wonder if it's all hype...

Wow, such mixed reviews! I might try that dupe, actually...

I use dim light as a sort of bronzer - nearly finished it. Really like.

@purpleelk sorry haven't read your op, but just chiming in to say if you have dry skin their oil primer is the best I've found.

I’m another with the Edit 4 palette as well as the ambient lighting palette.

Definitely worth the money as they set makeup without looking too dry or powdery and don’t emphasise lines and wrinkles like a lot of powders do. They make me look healthy and give a bit of a glow without looking too sheeny shiny. I don’t really do selfies or social media photos so can’t comment on that but I definitely look better in real life, including the hideous lighting in our office toilets.

I use the two palettes I’ve got for everything - powder, bronzer, highlighter, blush and eyeshadow - and barely made a dent in them so they are very good value for me. I’ve also stopped buying other brands/products which didn’t work or didn’t suit me so I’m actually saving money.

Yes is the Revolution one suitable for blindingly pale translucent skin? Grin I see you wear Ethereal otherwise which I was considering, but I am literally paper white with no colour at all. Even Benefit Dandelion is too dark for me as a blusher, just to give you an idea of the problem here Grin

Are there other very pale people who have used Ethereal? I'm considering it for my birthday but it's way above what I can normally spend so want it to be fabulous Smile

YesQueen · 04/03/2019 10:16

@WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles yep! Google has loads of swatches and ethereal is practically white/see through. I'm blue toned pale redhead

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 04/03/2019 10:18

No.

I have the yellow one and when the sun hits I look like the glitterball trophy.

I love them. I have Diffused light, Mood light and Ethereal light. I use them more as finishing powders than setting powders, not all over my face but only on certain areas. For example I use the ethereal light dusted lightly under my eyes to brighten that area. The powders don't set into fine lines or highlight dry areas.
I also love Mood exposure blusher, its one of my favourite blushers at the moment.

I'm fair skinned with freckles.

Thank you! I might give it a go...
