Bra & Knicker Sets

Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's, is it just me that's having trouble finding nice sets with no padded bra under a D cup? Is C cup not a popular size? Lovely set in Tesco I saw but nothing under a D. I asked and they even checked on their system, but they don't even do them in a C.

What band size are you looking for?

I'm destined to be knicker and braless.

If you're expecting supermarkets to cater to your needs then sadly yes.

dancemom · 23/02/2019 16:14

A 38C probably isn't that common a size.

What are your actual measurements?

Vividdreaming · 23/02/2019 16:16

It’s likely the opposite. The size is popular so they sell out fast.

Vitalogy · 23/02/2019 16:29

If you're expecting supermarkets to cater to your needs then sadly yes. Well my mind is blown, I wouldn't have though 38C was that unusual but seems so.

A 38C probably isn't that common a size. What the C or the 38?

It’s likely the opposite. The size is popular so they sell out fast. They aren't even going below a D. Not making them in the first place.

Someone is about to do a bra intervention and tell you that you are wearing the wrong size...

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 23/02/2019 16:33

TK Maxx occasionally have sets, tho I'm 40D and can rarely find my size. M&S every now and then

SorrelForbes · 23/02/2019 16:37

[leaps into thread to oblige]. OP, try measuring using this guide: thebetterbracampaign.blogspot.com/p/fitting-advice.html

Vitalogy · 23/02/2019 16:42

Someone is about to do a bra intervention and tell you that you are wearing the wrong size... I was just thinking that! Grin

If I'm near TK Maxx I'll have a look. Very daunting the clothes part of that shop, just feels like a gargantuan task searching through it all. I'm not a great clothes shopper as it is.

dancemom I'm at your mercy. What do you want, under boob and over nipple measurements? I probably am wearing the wrong size. Keep on meaning to get properly measured.

Sorry. Just reread your OP. Have you tried M and S.

Vitalogy · 23/02/2019 18:59

No, I've not tried M&S yet. I'm trying to stick to a budget though.

strawberrylollipop · 23/02/2019 20:36

Go online to boob or bust and measure yourself properly - I was wearing the completely wrong size! Ha

M&S are the worst for sizes!

Have a look at bra stop online or lingerie outlet

Smile
dementedpixie · 23/02/2019 20:36

34E = 36DD = 38D with regards to cup volume so would only be 1 cup size different to what you currently wear

Jeackyll · 23/02/2019 20:53

I love a bra intervention. I reckon 34 F

Vitalogy · 24/02/2019 07:04

Right, the guide said to lean forward as you measure the boob part. Hopefully they won't reach the floor at this point Confused. Then what, you pull them back again close to your body with the tape measure? How far squashed back in?
