A lovely relative has given me some money and I'd like to use some of it to buy myself something nice.

Open to all ideas - bags, clothes, cosmetics, shoes!

Any inspiration please? Smile

I have been eyeing this for ages.

I'd also buy some nice make up and primer. :)
And maybe a silkscreen kit.
You lucky thing.

whereiscaroline · 15/02/2019 18:52

Funnily enough, I've seen that jumper linked to on the style boards before, I wonder whether it was you!

Unfortunately I am not even close to being cool enough to carry this off. It's gorgeous though!

Massages. One each month for thr next 4-6 months

Blondielongie · 15/02/2019 18:57

It wasn't me 😂 I try and refrain from posting my toast love as I would sound like a broken record. If I was given £200 I would just get something from there. Or another pair of Dr Martens.

Nanasueathome · 15/02/2019 19:00

I love Toast too and was just coming on to say something from there
Please bear in mind, however, that you never have to pay full price. They have a seasonal sale on a regular basis and always reduce their stuff.
I’ve got loads and usually aim for minimum 40% reduction

Blondielongie · 15/02/2019 19:28

Also if you see something online or on Pinterest you can call the customer care website and they will find out if its in stock and post it to you for the sale price :)

CreativeMumma · 15/02/2019 19:50

I would book a spa day

bingohandjob · 15/02/2019 20:16

If you don't already have one, a leather jacket or a great pair of boots.

Crockof · 15/02/2019 20:22

I'd be boring and save it as you don't know what you really want. When you see it you have the money ready.

TheClitterati · 15/02/2019 21:12

www.elvisandkresse.com/products/reporter-bag

One of these.

VictoriaBun · 15/02/2019 21:19

I always think of someone has to post for inspiration then at that moment they don't really need anything !
Don't let it burn a hole in your pocket, keep it until you see something that you fall in love with and it becomes a must have.

Thishatisnotmine · 15/02/2019 21:29

Well fitting underwear, a good pair of slim blue jeans, a nice wool or cotton grey crewe neck jumper. But that is what I'd buy. Don't spend it unless you are absolutely sure its something you will.love.

Alarae · 15/02/2019 21:50

I was going to buy myself a Mulberry Bayswater backpack from the sale (I like the past season ones as they are bigger) when I qualified in January, but unfortunately couldn't justify the cost when I was spending for our Canadian holiday this month (over 1k on trips/extras these past two months!).

The desire has sort of waned now, but I do now want a new iPad to use on the plane. So.. £200 towards one of those!

BartonHollow · 15/02/2019 21:58

Purely on Style and Beauty

I want some Bumble And Bumble so £50 on that

£50 on an Eve Lom Sleep Mask

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, I got a tester and I loved it

Refill of Alien Perfume

Nemesia · 15/02/2019 22:06

TheCliteratti have you had one of their bags before? I loved the design of the bag I bought but it really smells of fire and it was so strong I couldn't really use the bag :-( just wondered if anyone else had the same problem.

mizu · 15/02/2019 22:10

Oooh TOAST lover here too. Usually buy from eBay or extreme sale or an outlet but with £200 I could buy a new dress. That jumper is gorgeous. I have 2 of their jumpers from this autumn/winter season and love them.

Other than that i would buy books or new make up.

NormaLouiseBates · 15/02/2019 22:17

The mood I'm in at the moment, I would blow the lot on make up!

The new Urban Decay palette - Naked Reloaded www.urbandecay.co.uk/en_GB/make-up-palettes/naked-reloaded-eyeshadow-palette/ud938.html

Too Faced Better than Sex waterproof mascara.

ABH Dipbrow Pomade and a really good eyebrow brush.

That would be about £100.00... I'd spend the rest in Mac. Happy days!

PersonaNonGarter · 15/02/2019 22:52

Buy a coat/Jacket

whereiscaroline · 15/02/2019 23:05

YES - UNDERWEAR! I definitely need some new underwear and it'd be nice not to feel guilty about spending on it (my arse has grown and boobs have shrunk thanks to yo-yo dieting).

Also had a Bumble & Bumble sample a while ago which was lovely but couldn't justify buying full size so that's a good shout too.

Bobbi Brown have 20% off at the moment but not sure if it's online only or whether it'll be in my local concession in HoF. They do an amazing eyebrow pencil.

Sean Leave claw silver earrings. I loved them before Meghan wore them but they did look good on her.

youngestisapsycho · 16/02/2019 07:40

Apple EarPods.

youngestisapsycho · 16/02/2019 07:41

Although they’re not style and beauty! Grin

MaudesMum · 16/02/2019 08:01

I'd save it for a couple of months and then, when all the summer clothes are in the shops, I would use it to upgrade my summer wardrobe. Probably a nice dress and a pair of shoes/sandals.

whereiscaroline · 16/02/2019 08:27

I have found these beauties in M&S and I'm a little bit in love. They're top of my shopping hit list for today. And they're only £25!

What would you buy with £200 right now?
