A lovely relative has given me some money and I'd like to use some of it to buy myself something nice.

Open to all ideas - bags, clothes, cosmetics, shoes!

Any inspiration please? Smile

Makeup
Clothes

A new can of hairspray

Also, I need new brushes to do my makeup.

LilQuim · 16/02/2019 08:41

I would get my hair done! I'm so skint & my highlights & toners & cut costs almost £200. Was hoping I'd magically have the £ before my birthday this week. Ah well! Lol.

I'd spend it all on hush clothes. I already have a full cart waiting, that's £300 and wondering what I could take out, as it's too much.

Also, I just bought a great leather jacket for this amount of money, that I will wear for years and years, both spring and autumn.

BusterGonad · 16/02/2019 17:24

I'd spend £100 on shoes and new knickers and £100 on skin care and make up. I'd buy an oil cleanser, a oil to moisturize with and any left a cream cleanser. Oh and any change I'd buy some fashion and beauty magazines.

CountFosco · 16/02/2019 18:34

I'd buy a big ticket item so leather jacket or skirt, silk dress, cashmere jumper, good shoes. Or perfume.

Averysmallcasserole · 17/02/2019 09:31

I’d buy a nice bag or jacket. Or equally nice knickers and bras as they cost ££

Tatapie · 17/02/2019 19:36

Pink lips what jacket did you buy please? Sorry to hijack!

@Tatapie I bought the grey Marlowe leather jacket, from hush.

Yeezy

Sheet face masks

OMGithurts · 18/02/2019 16:53

Primer, the urban decay palette, boots No 7 BB cream, a pedicure and full leg and bikini wax. I recently came into a bit of cash and bought Jo Malone mimosa and caradmon cologne, it makes me happy every day.

SanityisfoundinNature · 18/02/2019 16:56

For spring/summer:

Tinted moisturiser.
Sandals.
Denim jeans.
Tan coloured skinnies.
Light weight sweaters in 3/4 different colours/prints.
Pop over/bib tops - 2/3.

HugoBearsMummy · 18/02/2019 17:36

Lip fillers Grin I've just booked mine as a treat for after DD is born - had them done 1 year ago so ready for a top up and I'm beyond excited hehe Grin

Thankssomuch · 18/02/2019 21:02

Either some Penelope Chilvers sneakers or the Jigsaw Hoxton trousers and a bottle of Opium.

ChishandFips33 · 18/02/2019 22:25

Nemesia I have an Elvis and Kresse bag and yes it still smells!

Which one did you buy?

ChishandFips33 · 19/02/2019 14:50

For £200 I'd buy a nice piece of jewellery or a watch.

There's been some lovely threads about unique silver jewellery.

ShopoholicIn · 20/02/2019 17:52

I would go for one piece of clothing or jewellery. I am eyeing the ted baker wool coat atm.. hoping it gets reduced as summers approach... hope u find something lovely op..

TheClitterati · 26/02/2019 12:57

@Nemesia my bag doesn't smell at all. And having been in a house fire, I'm still very sensitive to smoke smell all these years on.
They do have great customer service - did you mention it to them?

ZigZagZombie · 26/02/2019 13:01

A cashmere cape or poncho. Will withstand the test of time style-wise - and be forgiving if your weight fluctuates.

Nemesia · 26/02/2019 21:13

@TheClitterati I really thought the smell would fade, and I also felt a bit daft complaining as, after all, it is made of old fire reels! It was about 5 years ago I got it so too late to say anything now 😄. They are lovely well made bags though.

Nemesia · 26/02/2019 21:15

@ChishandFips33 i can't remember the name of it, it was like a small tote bag shape.

SteelRiver · 26/02/2019 21:39

I'd buy a blazer, made from a lovely quality fabric, well tailored and in a classic colour, probably navy. It's such a versatile piece to have in a wardrobe.

hastingsmua1 · 26/02/2019 23:48

This isn’t helpful but I wish I could spend £200 on clothes! My problem is that there’s nothing in the shops that I like right now so I feel a bit stuck!
