Yes I'd go tea dress.

Happyinheels · 17/02/2019 09:39

I think the dress is gorgeous and I think heels or little ankle boots will best compliment it. You look gorgeous in your pic with the heels. Enjoy your date!

Happyinheels · 17/02/2019 09:41

So sorry 🤦🏻‍♀️ didn't read the whole thread!!!!! You looked gorgeous!
And good luck with this next date!

NigellasGuest · 17/02/2019 10:25

Good luck for tonight. Dating sounds fun, I haven't done it for 23 years 😅
I will follow your story instead!

Just back, i think my home situation put him off he was really flirty etc then my answer to something put him off, i think the reality of my being a single mum hit him! could see the change in him, he offered friend with benefits type situation, i said no, its not for me, Back to the drawing board!! Dam it! Bit gutted but that's life!

Ah well, it’s good practice for when you have a date lined up with someone better!

SleepWarrior · 18/02/2019 02:12

Ohhhh, commiserations Sad

Best to weed out early the ones who aren't cut out for dating with a child as part of it I guess. At least he was upfront (should really be a given but sadly isn't).

Onwards and upwards, there will be more dates! That lovely white skirt needs an outing!

SpeckledyHen · 18/02/2019 05:52

Sorry to hear that OP :(
His loss - you sound lovely and look amazing , but better to know before it went any further .

Justme1981 · 18/02/2019 06:58

Aww thanks everyone, definitely better to find out sooner than later! Hopefully will meet someone else to date 🤞

At least you have your date outfits sorted for another time. Smile

Sorry it didn’t work out this time.

Bloomini · 18/02/2019 07:10

You look amazing OP and I love your outfits too! The spotty skirt combo is my favourite.

It's his loss and glad you found out sooner rather than later he's not right for you. Good luck dating!

NigellasGuest · 18/02/2019 07:35

Oh dear OP - but think about it, he could have led you on and developed the relationship whilst in his head knowing it was just friends with benefits, which would have been horrible later on when the truth came out. At least he made it clear really early so you could cut ties quickly and easily. And as PP said, great practice for future dates! You clearly looked good or he wouldn't have offered FWB. That sounds awful in a way but it should give you confidence that you were attractive to him. Sorry that probably sounds very un-feminist, I hope you know what i mean!!

Nesssie · 18/02/2019 11:34

At least you have your date outfits sorted for another time

I have 3 'date outfits' that I wear in the same order each time I start dating. Makes me feel more confident knowing that these exact outfits flatter me and are comfortable!
