If I wasn't already married I'd wear this for my winter wedding...

Apropos of nothing really, I just saw that dress and that's what I thought. :)
I remember really struggling to find something with integral sleeves that wasn't wafty, frilly or MOBish.
God, some lovely dresses on that website.

Omg how nice to come back having folded and put away a fucking mountain of clothes, sadly none of them from Fold to find you all chatting weddings/dresses/wedding dresses.

Boogle that made me properly lol! Will you have a different dress for each??

My actual wedding dress was pretty covered up (long, with half-sleeves, very modest slit at the back of the neck) but it had a plunging v-neck that made a beloved guest exclaim 'When you leaned over our table to chat I thought they were going to fall out.' (I was wearing a Freya Deco so they weren't going anywhere.)

And how much do I love the cheaper pink one! But that colour makes me look a bit sickly. Didn't stop me buying a blushy-pink coat mind, but I have the option of a scarf in a more flattering colour.

I think maybe half the attraction is the tweedy birdseye texture though, it isn't quite the same in blush or navy.

Oh and I'm old and look excellent in white so I'm not ruling it out for my fictional nuptuals. I do draw the line at a veil.

Oh my gosh, I would so wear that to my winter wedding to any one of my thirty seven fantasy grooms ( e.g the young Salman Rushdie, Bobby Kennedy, the conductor Vladimir Jurowski, a boy I dated in 1995 who is now a neonatologist).

Grin I love the specificity of 37 fantasy bridegrooms. In my fantasy future weddings I never give much thought to the dress, it's all about the shoes (and perfume). Maybe a Bianca Jagger suit, although I suspect a suit would make me look more Sandi Toksvig than Bianca Jagger.
