Friend says I can't wear these white trousers to a wedding..do you agree?

I'm going to a wedding next Saturday and it's forecast snow.
I hate dresses and skirts and feel so self conscious
I have these trousers and feel comfortable in them but friend says no as they are white.
What do you think?

Friend says I can't wear these white trousers to a wedding..do you agree?

I don’t think I’d wear them with black but they’re lovely trousers and fine for a wedding.

Well not to a society wedding but to anything else, they will do. Not very seasonal though! Are they jean style?
