Purple shampoo that works?

SeaSlug · 03/02/2019 11:26

Had hair highlighted, there are a couple of bits on the top that are a bit brassy, I have been using Tresemme purple shampoo, also have tried Touch of Silver but no difference at all, do any of the purple shampoos make any difference?

The osmosis one is brilliant, really strong pigmentation. I got mine from Amazon, about £7.

UtterlyDesperate · 03/02/2019 11:29

The Bleach one is really good. But don't use it every time, otherwise it's counter-productive and dulls your hair. You can get it in Boots.

tshirtsuntan · 03/02/2019 11:31

Sorry, it's osmo super silver, not osmosis Blush

Livedandlearned · 03/02/2019 11:59

Fudge Clean Blonde is very good, seems expensive but it'a a massive bottle and lasts ages.

Ifonlyiweretaller · 03/02/2019 12:28

I too recommend the Osmo one. Its amazing.

teta · 03/02/2019 14:03

Definitely Bleach London.

TacoFlavouredKisses · 03/02/2019 14:09

I vote for the Fudge one too, just to confuse matters Grin I use the normal purple shampoo and the new "damage control" purple conditioner.

Bluelady · 03/02/2019 16:14

Lush Daddy-o is great with the added bonus that it smells wonderful. I didn't like Fudge - too glutinous for my taste.

incendio · 03/02/2019 16:18

I've used both fudge and bleach London and love both!

Hollypink · 03/02/2019 16:24

Superdrug colour effects cool blonde is the best thing I've used for brassiness

habibihabibi · 03/02/2019 18:21

Fenola no yellow - Italian brand that's very pricey and popular in the USA but cheap in the UK /EUR
It's amazing(beautiful fragrance) and so is their conditioner. I buy it amazon uk.

Seacow87 · 03/02/2019 18:36

Fanola!! It's great.

WhatFreshHellisCis · 03/02/2019 18:37

Bleach London was shite for me
Milk-Shake is the only one I’d ever use

Frouby · 03/02/2019 18:38

I use Joico, about £15 in amazon, worth it because it lasts for ages.

Jjbay · 03/02/2019 18:39

Fudge clean blonde.. if you get in on all beauty it’s usually between £15/20 for 1000ml pump bottle Smile

FromDespairToHere · 03/02/2019 18:41

I find some Live Colour hair dye mixed in with my conditioner works better than any coloured shampoo I've bought!

LouLouLoupee · 03/02/2019 18:48

Fudge or L’oreal Professional

Needadoughnut · 03/02/2019 18:49

Joico is hands down the best :)

littlemisscynical · 03/02/2019 18:50

Matrix do one. A bit pricier but worth it

Raven88 · 03/02/2019 19:06

OSMO or Fudge have always worked great for me. Touch of silver doesn't do much. I get mine at Sally's

berniebee · 04/02/2019 00:31

Fudge.

theaccidentaleconomist · 04/02/2019 00:52

@TacoFlavouredKisses I'm delighted to hear that the original Fudge Clean Blonde shampoo is still available.

I find the new damage rewind purple shampoo is great for strengthening my hair but for some reason the toning effect is not as great as the original version.

ThanksItHasPockets · 04/02/2019 00:53

L’Oréal Professional silver shampoo.

Elledorado · 04/02/2019 01:11

Fudge for me too

DaisyRose1985 · 04/02/2019 01:12

Lee strafford bleach blonde shampoo, there is three in the range, but it's the bright purple bottle which is the best out of them. The longer you leave it on, the better it works.
