Would you find white underpants off putting?

...on a man? Not little pants but big tight white boxer shorts. I feel like i'm being unreasonable but I've never encountered this before

I think cartoons and characters on underwear are more off-putting!

My DH wears black briefs which I'm not keen on but I took the view that I wouldn't be chuffed if he commented on my underwear choices so I should keep my opinion to myself on his underwear choices. We're both grown-ups after all.

However, my son can be influenced........

Dh chucked his white boxers recently. He old me that he had worked out that his chances of having sex weren't exactly enhanced by wearing them. He is right.. I am with you OP!

Goodness, this reminds me of the time I walked into an office (the door was open) and found one of the partners bending over his desk with his trousers round his ankles. He was wearing white M&S y-fronts. Me laughing like a hyena wouldn't have done much for his confidence .

Even my DS 13 has worked out never to wear the white boxers my DM once bought him.

If they are stretch cotton, clean and bright white on a tight bod then yes!

I’m at the anti white pant brigade! Never knew it was an issue. DH wears tight boxers in various colours. Boss and Polo are his preferred brands, and he has some white pairs. I don’t fancy him less in them than the coloured or black ones.

Do all your partners critique your bra and knicker choices? Do you all bin your white underwear after the 1st wash because it’s never quite so white after it’s been washed? Serious questions, I’m baffled by this!

My DH pretty much only wears white pants. Ones like the picture of DB upthread. He has some in black too but prefers the white ones. They look great on him!

I'm single and I do remember with much amusement a guy I was dating getting rather amorous but alas when the jeans came off I was confronted with mickey mouse briefs, seems his mother had bought them for him. Plain white would have been preferable to mickey so I don't think they're that bad as long as they're a not grey

I think white pants would be the bravest. He must be certain of his hygiene! So while I would have noticed (I doubt white underpants would have shocked me) I would have thought "brave choice". So long as they are in mint condition.

As others have said, white y fronts are another matter, aside from the Breaking Bad scene I just picture my brother when we were kids as this is what mum thought was best!

DB were always in mint condition though weren't they? I'm sure I read somewhere that he only wears his boxers for one day and then chucks them away! I guess on that basis, and the basis of being so fit, he can get away with white.

Apart from anything, they remind me of a particular unpleasant night I spent with an American and every time I see them on an American film/TV programme (do they not sell coloured underpants in the US??), I feel a bit queasy . But then I'm like that with men's briefs too.

My DP wears white boxers of the clingy stretch cotton type. I wash his pants and have never noticed anything unsavoury in there.
He looks hot in tighty whiteys, but then he is a triathlete.
