What do we all think of Boden these days? I heard they're trying to move away from the frumpy mum image and market to a target audience. I still buy from them but regular disappointed at the lack of natural fines on offer and general randomness of some of their designs.

Really like Boden. But I'm under 5 foot and they have a really good petite range I can't find anywhere else. I also think their quality is better than other places, where you can see your body through the material.

I keep to the plain colours and cut and think it looks good! Their dresses fit really well. I don't mind paying the price because it can takes me a year plus to find anything else that fits that isn't see through or ill fitting. The amount of crap I send back to Next is incredible.

But maybe that's just it Sinitta, their pursuit of the USA market has alienated their core customers in the UK. I know Boden have made huge inroads in the USA over recent years, and were thrilled to get Nordstrom onboard as a stockist. However I do think this has come at a cost to their own quality.
Their customer service is faultless, will agree with you on that.

Like others I've got money to spend on clothing and I want to spend it yet would never buy Boden because it's just so frumpy and dreary. As I've said on other threads, their designs always miss the mark somehow. Their quality has declined too. I used to buy their cashmere because it was really good and well priced, but in recent years the decline in fabric and quality standards has been shocking. I also think if brands can offer discounts on a regular basis it's time to lower their price points and stop the reductions.

I genuinely don't know why they're pursuing the teen/under 30s markets and choosing to an demographic who want to buy well-made clothing from a British brand.

Lastly, as a great British brand it would be wonderful to see Boden invest in the UK and start manufacturing here, particularly in light of Brexit and so many companies fleeing. As a staunch Tory and remainer, it would be a nice touch to put something back into the UK.
