I have just bought a Barbour jacket, white stuff velvet top and Brora scarf - all half price at JL. Of course I didn't know I needed any of it.

Couple of bits in the next sale and just brought a all saints leather jacket with money given to me for Christmas

Fat face sale was good too.

Yeah, bought a cashmere jumper in the fat face sale early yesterday morning. It’s lucky the baby was only up once last night and prevented small hours shopping habit!

Ooh Cherry, the Fifi bag is lovely. I've got a load of basics from gap, extra 30% off sale today. I've ordered a red fair Isle jumper £40 down to £10 - not sure if it's going to look to festive when it arrives - and a load of jersey tops as they wash well and are a good staple.
I really want a jumper similar in style to the Hush Patti star but I think it's still a little spendy for me right now (I have form for destroying knitware).

Just got back in from a very calm shopping experience, got a load of stuff from Lush which was relatively painless, some more bits from FatFace 🙈 and hotel chocolat :)

where is best for work trousers / jeggings and work tops? I am between sizes due to weight loss and I am scared to shop anywhere other than plus size brands and I'm scared I will look too old or too young - I'm really struggling to find a style now that I've lost weight. I thought the sales would be a good place to start as at least I wouldn't be wasting a lot of money. Which clothes shops have sales on right now?

I shopped the Space NK sale yesterday morning Was fairly restrained however and only purchased the by Terry Sun Palette.

went out at 9 am to fat face for a bag, streets were deserted and only about four of us in the car park :D probably busier now

I’ve brought some mascara in boots online sale, new coat for ds2 and 1 pair of jeans in next, and a next dressing gown which I’ve asked for for 3 years in a row and seems to fall on deaf ears!! Used my gift cards so not spent too much. And only got what we actually needed. (Well mascara is a treat but I only ever buy it in the sales!)

@UserMe18 no, I hadn't tried the Next sale. I'll give it a look. I'm in Europe and Fat face have stores/ concession here so it's straight forward. I'll have to see if I can get regular priced delivery from Next here too....or have it delivered to my mum's.

I'm going to get some new gymwear from the Sweaty Betty sale online today, I purchased two jumpers in the white company sale online. Otherwise I will wait for the end of sale clearance reductions on net a porter to see if I find something great, I've found some good bargains before! Try to wait until the sales to buy things which are both good quality and won't date!

I've bought a Ted Baker coat I had been lusting after from John Lewis.

I looked at it on the TB website Christmas Eve and my size was out of stock. Had a look on JL and it was there.

I dotn need a new best coat really. OH had suggested getting it for me for Christmas but put him off n the hope it would be reduced

Judging from the amount of traffic on the road and at Meadowhall when I took DD to work this morning there are plenty of people sale shopping. I'm dreading the pick up because it will be chaos. There are no trains today and only a skeleton bus and tram service so nearly everyone is in a car
There are no buses where we live today.

The store had trouble covering shifts because half the staff can't get in due to lack of public transport, and the wages aren't high enough for a taxi.

I got a similar handbag to the coach one from Kate Spade.
