What is wrong with my hair?
Had it highlighted a week ago.
Just washed it for the first time and I’m trying to straighten it, but it looks like there’s loads of snapped off bits all the way up?
Anything I can do?

Poor thing, it looks like breakage from the photo. Maybe the bleach from the highlights was left on a bit too long, or your hair was already lightened/damaged beforehand.

Nothing much can be done as a miracle fix, just have to baby it for a few months and try to be as gentle as possible even if that means no more highlights!

Treat it with kid gloves and do lots of deep conditioning / protein treatments.

The Colour Wow product you mentioned is pants, I had high hopes for it but it's useless (and makes your hair feel sticky with zero frizz easing properties)
