Can't believe we've reached the penultimate day already! I'm going to miss our morning meet-ups.

Today's cream is worth £12.48 which brings our tally to £284.53.

Have a lovely Christmas Eve everyone 🎅

AutoFilled · 24/12/2018 08:02

Same as another PP I have no idea what today’s is so went for a google. The review on the l’occitane website are very good and I’m looking forward to trying it. I don’t think I will buy the full sized one though at £78 a jar though.

Lumene · 24/12/2018 08:09

This moisturiser gets excellent reviews. Unfortunately I react to it but will gift to my mother in law who will love be it.

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 24/12/2018 08:09

Thanks for the eyeliner tips! I think I am going to wait until I really have to wind it up to give it a go.
Happy with today's! I have had sample sachets of this before and it's lovely so really pleased to have a decent sized tester to properly try it out...though a re-buy is definitely out of the question!

Happy Christmas Eve all! And in case I don't get a chance tomorrow - Merry Christmas! I love these threads, it's been a lot of fun! Xmas Smile

MeetOnTheSIedge · 24/12/2018 08:14

The little pot is very cute!

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 24/12/2018 08:19

Very very happy with today's and what a dinky container!

I've enjoyed reading/occasionally adding to this thread as much as I've enjoyed the calendar itself. Have a lovely day today everyone and Happy Christmas!

PS meet back here when the M & S summer box comes out?!!!

Today's is a lovely little treat - what a cute pot. I will never spend £78 in a moisturiser, so it is a nice wee Christmas indulgence.

AutoFilled · 24/12/2018 08:36

I’m liking the hyasoft instant boost serum. It was odd using it but my skin has been looking much more hydrated. I tried to limit changes so I have only been using the time filler eye cream, the glittery neck cream and this instant boost moisture gel on the face.

MysweetAudrina · 24/12/2018 09:08

Happy with today's. I have the overnight reset serum on my Santa list so this will go nicely with it.

Thanks Dec for the daily updates. Will we hit the 300 mark tomorrow I wonder?

Hope you all have a lovely xmas eve, my fav day of the year :)

Skinfulnappies46 · 24/12/2018 09:33

What is it.? Doesn’t say on jar?

Skinfulnappies46 · 24/12/2018 09:34

Oh...just read the previous posts!!!

Bluelady · 24/12/2018 10:08

Now today's is excellent, absolutely delighted with it. I've opened tomorrow's as well and it's very nice too. M&S definitely saved the best til last.

ajandjjmum · 24/12/2018 10:10

When is the Summer box released? I'm worried about getting withdrawal symptoms after Christmas! [fgrin)

Happy Christmas everyone!

MrsBuckettt · 24/12/2018 10:22

The summer box is usually the end of June.

Sometimes they do a big Mother's Day box too, but they didn't last year.

Atalune · 24/12/2018 10:25

Oh this is a pleasing one! Yay!

I have thrown the big box away- did a dump run this morning in preparation for all the crap tomorrow.

Have loved this thread.

Will you all be here tomorrow for the last little box??

YouWereRight · 24/12/2018 10:37

I'm excited to try today's cream. I'm going to wait till it gets properly cold before cracking it open.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 24/12/2018 10:42

I was wondering what everyone else was doing with the boxes, it seems too nice to throw away but can't see any real use for it.

I tried the bronzer today, as eyeshadow with the Stila liner and as actual bronzer. It certainly does give a healthy glow, maybe I will be converted.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 24/12/2018 10:48

Meet last year I kept my box (it was very pretty!) and filled it with treats for my nieces (BIL and SIL haven't even said thank you grrr!) and gave it to them at the end of November so you could make a DIY advent calendar with it?

Who thinks they may cave and open tomorrow's tonight?! Like Mysweet today is my favourite day of the year also!

BollockingBaubles · 24/12/2018 11:07

The empty boxes I've seen sell for £10 on eBay previous years. I'm lazy and can't be arsed to pack it up and go to post office etc.

Checking empty boxes on eBay though is a good tip for xmas packaging too. I bought an iMac in summer and bloke said to keep the box because they sell well and tend to go up in value when a particular model isn't supported. My particular box was selling at £50/£70 but things like empty Beats headphones, old iPhone or high end phone boxes etc. If you can hang on til next xmas you'll prob make a bit extra when people buy pre owned for gifts but need a box.

I thought today's was a hand cream at first. Love the cute little bottle. I'll be keeping the cute empty bottles to decant larger products in for travel. Much prettier than the generic £1 ones I usually use.

SlowNorris · 24/12/2018 11:14

Last year I put treats in the boxes and left it with the rabbits Xmas Grin They play with the small boxes and sleep in the actual calendar so it all gets used up.

I opened tomorrow’s already as I won’t be home. I’m happy with it but could have done with it last night so wish I’d opened it sooner!

latedecember1963 · 24/12/2018 11:38

I'll definitely be checking in tomorrow at some point. A summer beauty box thread is a fabulous idea and a nice half way point to counting down to Advent fun all over again.

Glad others love Christmas Eve! We're off to the Bridgewater Hall this afternoon for the Christmas singalong led by Jonathan Cohen (for those of us of the Play School / Playaway era!) Have a lovely day everyone, however you're spending it. X

chemenger · 24/12/2018 11:48

I know my box is empty tomorrow, DD was looking after the calendar for the first half of the month, opened all the boxes and kept no. 25. I already had thing she took so it’s fine.

cuppycakey · 24/12/2018 12:00

Really happy with todays - a proper treat.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 24/12/2018 12:01

Late - we went to that concert last week, also previously at RAH. Allow plenty of time for arrival at the venue, it was chaotic last week. Great show though.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 24/12/2018 12:02

Oh hang on, you're not at the Westminster Central Hall one, ignore me.
