Link to previous thread.

And once again, let's keep this good-spirited. Spiteful comments are about as welcome as Fergie at Prince Philip's birthday party!

Lots of emphasis on cruelty versus kindness. Making a point there I think. The cradling the baby bump is just bloody annoying.
All credit to her for continuing to show up in the face of all the gossip and speculation

frugalkitty · 10/12/2018 22:50

I think this is where her showbiz background serves her well, she has the confidence and experience to do this kind of event by herself.

Pupsiecola · 10/12/2018 22:51

Something very pointed in Meghan's speech when she said it's "cool to be kind": not just the words but the inflection and tone. Anyone else pick up on that?

PawneeParksDept · 10/12/2018 22:52

God though, do people need to find whatever they can to criticise this poor woman on?

Hmm

She looks flawless tonight

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 10/12/2018 22:53

Have posted pics of the other celebs attending on the Celebrity Style & Gossip thread.

Moononthehill28 · 10/12/2018 22:54

Yes pupsiecola.. that’s what I meant. Definitely making a point

Moononthehill28 · 10/12/2018 22:55

She looks a good six months to me

Pupsiecola · 10/12/2018 22:55

Cross posted moon. The bump cradling is reminding me a little bit of Angelina's Leg.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 10/12/2018 22:57

Bless her, MM is out tonight. All the other Princesses look a bit dowdy compared to Meghan tonight

QueenOfTheAndals · 10/12/2018 22:58

After all the crap that's been thrown at her lately, I think I can forgive a bout of bump cradling! And she looks amazing tonight, just radiant.

If I could work out how to post emojis I would post one of the ‘crying with laughter’ ones!

QueenOfTheAndals · 10/12/2018 22:59

Is that a JUMPSUIT on MM @CurlyWurlyTwirly? She's brave!

Love meghans dress tonight and I like the sleek bun she is glowing! Only have very limited internet at the moment so I haven't seen the clips but in the photos you all have shared (thanks for my fix) she looks happy and relaxed maybe it's an act but considering the amount of negativity she has directed at her at the moment it's nice to see.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 10/12/2018 23:00

And in other news Prince Jacques And Princess Gabriella of Monaco turned 4.
I like to see they’ve picked their own clothes!

In response to the Anjelina’s leg comment

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 10/12/2018 23:02

According to twitter MM is wearing a dress (gown)

QueenOfTheAndals · 10/12/2018 23:03

Meanwhile the adorable monegasque twins have turned 4. Jacques looks like any other little boy his age in jeans and Spider-Man hoodie (no twee shorts for him!) but his shoes appear to be several sizes too big and give him Goofy feet!

Snap @CurlyWurlyTwirly!

Perhaps cradling her bump makes her feel a bit more confident, in the way that DoC used to always hold a clutch with two hands. I mean, after the recent nasty press and family matters again it may have taken a lot to step out on that stage, alone.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 10/12/2018 23:05

Meghan looks gorgeous, and got a warm welcome.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 10/12/2018 23:07

Meghan has literally been analysed from top to toe in an hour.
She is wearing ethical earrings

frugalkitty · 10/12/2018 23:08

Spring could mean March 1st so she may well be six months gone already. Or she might be having an 11lb plus baby which is why I was also the size of a bus at a similar stage......I had big bumps with all of my babies, and I think were used to seeing Kate pregnant who only really had a noticeable bump towards the very end of her pregnancies.

Moononthehill28 · 10/12/2018 23:08

Her dress and shoes are fab. Her hair looks so much better like that

Missyelliottsaysso · 10/12/2018 23:08

Meghan looks stunning...and surely cradling your baby bump is natural.

ElspethFlashman · 10/12/2018 23:10

I dunno, I remember taking a photo of myself in a mirror at 20 weeks and I looked the exact same. I was sending it to someone to ask if my bump was too big? I felt enormous. Everyone was commenting on how big I was for 5 months, it was so embarrassing. I was so self conscious. I just popped really early. It wasn't fluid or anything, and there was definitely only one in there!

I actually looked pretty standard by the end. I plateaued. But since then I don't judge bumps cos I know from my own personal experience that some are quick, some are slow.

She looks amazing, this is my favourite look from her so far. It's clean, classic but still contemporary.
