I wear this length skirt all winter, as I am not great with trousers! Never occurred to me people would be bothered about the length. I like my legs and think they look good in opaques.

OP, I think you are rocking it too!

Bugjune · 13/11/2018 19:47

It's the perfect mini length for good legs, not too short at all.

buttercupsyrup · 13/11/2018 19:52

Cracking pins, crap skirt.

No such thing as too short with thick tights!
It's my signature look, I'm 46 and declining rapidly but I've still got the legs of a teenager and plan to wear very short skirts for life!
It suits you Smile

Nononononono33 · 13/11/2018 20:05

I think it looks great, but if you decide to get rid of it can I have it?! 😂😂

SilentIsla · 13/11/2018 20:15

Discard. Looks old, dated and too short.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/11/2018 20:16

I like it and it's not too short. Keep!

UsedBySomebodyAlready · 13/11/2018 20:28

I love it, I'd wear it, but I'm old too 😔
CountFosco I had a very similar topshop skirt from a similar time, possibly the same one, now I'm missing mine too!

TheWombat · 13/11/2018 20:28

Not too short, you have great legs!! If I was you I’d wear it and make mini skirts a wardrobe staple.

DavetheCat2001 · 13/11/2018 20:37

Hello @Laska3Meryl!

@ineedteanownotlater it's says 's/m' on the label.

It's cotton corduroy material.

@mummymayhem18 - well spotted! Yes my ye olde faithful OK bag that OH got me donkeys years ago. It's not what I would have chosen myself (I prefer the brighter OK designs) but it's been used to death and still looks in good shape.

StingsandThings · 13/11/2018 20:42

I love it! -Because it reminds me of Elmer-

Put it on eBay and I'll buy it Grin
I don't think it's too short with thick tights/leggings and boots and long sleeve top like you're wearing in picture. (I remember the tiny t shirt tend!)

I do always think, if you're questioning it when trying it on, are you going to not wear it or not enjoy wearing it?

SassitudeandSparkle · 13/11/2018 20:49

I had an Uttam top in the early noughties, I think I got it from Joe Browns.

It is a bit Elmer for me too, that was the first thing I thought about (darn those books!).

If you haven't worn it in a while, I would let it go tbh.

HildaZelda · 13/11/2018 21:01

Not too short at all OP. You have great legs so show them off. I don't like the pattern though if I'm honest.

Candlelights2345 · 13/11/2018 21:13

If you can cope with the shortness I think you should keep it. It’s quirky, it would be boring if we all wore the same!

EdWinchester · 13/11/2018 21:15

Very dated. Good for fancy dress?

But I say that as someone that keeps nothing.

Belindabauer · 13/11/2018 21:17

I think it looks great but if you don't feel comfortable then get rid of it.

mummymayhem18 · 13/11/2018 21:21

Good taste! ☺️I love Orla Kiely,it's a shame her businesses folded but apparently there will be some home bits still being sold in some stores. My favourite are her leather embossed bags. X

VickieCherry · 14/11/2018 06:48

I used to wear Uttam clothes as a student, there was a hippy shop filled with all sorts of treasures which sold them Grin They're not my style now, but I love the overall look.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/11/2018 19:43

Yes to Elmer and that's why I like it.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 14/11/2018 19:51

Personally I am not fussed for the design of the skirt. It does remind me of Elmer. I think you have fantastic legs but I do think its too short generally and nothing to do with age.

EnidButton · 14/11/2018 20:23

Immediate thought was Elmer but it's not too short at all. It's short yes but not too short. Opaque tights and you can wear anything. I like it with the boots too.

EnidButton · 14/11/2018 20:24

What are people meaning by too short please? Too short for what? Not being an arse, genuinely not sure. and wondering about my own skirts
