Chanel Perfumes

There seems to be so many Chanel perfumes.

I really don't like Chanel No 5. What are your recommendations for their fragrances? I don't like heavy musky scents...

Currently saving up for Coromandel. Nearly there.
Lined up after that, Sycomore.

Allure is lovely. It’s the only perfume that complete strangers have asked about when I’m wearing it. I’ve even had men approach me wanting to buy it for their wives!

Has anybody tried Chanel No.22?

I love Allure. My late FIL used to buy me Chanel No 5 for me every Xmas. It smells like cat piss on me.

I have Chanel 22. I’ve had so many people ask what I am wearing! It is slightly reminiscent of No. 5, but not too much - it is a lot better, has more depth.

Oh good, MrsSchadenfreude, that's what I'd heard. I may look it out and give it a try!

BOF- I had some and have to say I really really don't like it. Too strong and clashy notes for me, but like MrsS you may love it.

Coco was my signature scent but I think doesn’t smell like it used to -now a lot more artificial /synthetic smelling. I have worn 25 plus years so now very disappointed.

Chanel Jersey

I like fresh green ones, so 19, Cristalle or Chance Eau Fraiche are my faves.
