There seems to be so many Chanel perfumes.

I really don't like Chanel No 5. What are your recommendations for their fragrances? I don't like heavy musky scents...

Is coco Mademoiselle the same as coco Chanel?

Sexnotgender · 10/11/2018 21:34

Coco Mademoiselle for me too. Love it.

timeforachangemethinks · 10/11/2018 21:40

@AllDriedOut nope totally different fragrances.

My faves are Allure and Chance eau fraiche, the latter always gets s comment from my husband

KimKsButt · 10/11/2018 22:03

I have chance and Boy. Chance is every day but Boy is for VERY special occasions

ChampooPapi · 10/11/2018 22:05

Cristalle !

loveka · 10/11/2018 22:05

Cristalle. I LOVE it!

ChampooPapi · 10/11/2018 22:06

Everything @Maraki just said, these are the best

Londongirl888 · 10/11/2018 22:06

Chanel 19. Fresh and sophisticated.

ChampooPapi · 10/11/2018 22:08

@loveka it may sound a bit much but Cristalle perfume and Coco Mademoiselle body oil before creates the most amazing fragrance

ChampooPapi · 10/11/2018 22:10

Gabrielle is pretty gorgeous if your skin agrees, it definitely smells different on the wearer

babydreamer1 · 10/11/2018 22:11

I love Gabrielle, I find it to be more of a young fragrance but not overly sickly.

timeforachangemethinks · 10/11/2018 22:11

I was very underwhelmed with Gabrielle, I really wanted to love it but it was very meh to me

BaronessBomburst · 10/11/2018 22:17

Chance is light, modern, and elegant.
I like Coco in the winter, Coco Mademoiselle in the summer, and I adore Coromandel but it's out of my budget. Sad

ChampooPapi · 10/11/2018 22:17

@timeforachangemethinks I see what you mean but it smelt so good on my daughter and just seemed to get better as the day wore on, it didn't suit me so much (Cristalle till I die) but it just smelt so divine on her. It is defiantly down to your skin and how it holds/ subtlety changes the perfume

MandalaYogaTapestry · 10/11/2018 22:35

I rediscovered No 5 recently when saw a friend use its body lotion. It keeps the scent very light. So the No 5 body lotion on the open skin and No 5 hair mist on the hair. Divine.

HisBetterHalf · 14/11/2018 06:51

Chanel Noir and Gabrielle

JanetLovesJason · 14/11/2018 09:10

Cuir de Russie.

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 14/11/2018 10:13

I am running into this thread (as I do most perfume threads tbf) to say I love 19, Coromandel and the new Paris-Deauville. I also like 31 Rue Cambon and Boy. Bois des Iles did nothing for me, but I think that's because nowadays we are used to sweet smoky spicy scents whereas in the 1920s when it came out it must have been quite a shocker.

But mainly I want to say hello to BaronessBomburst who I haven't seen for ages! Flowers (dranksangria here)

fishonabicycle · 14/11/2018 10:40

19 Poudre, Chance Eau Fraiche, Coco

Bugjune · 14/11/2018 11:23

Coromandel, 31 Rue Cambon, Bois des Iles, Cuir de Russie, Coco.

schnubbins · 14/11/2018 11:32

I wear Chanel Noir in the winter time and get many compliments.I used to love Chanel No 19 but my husband doesn't like it at all.My best friend has worn Coco for years .Its her signature scent.

happystory · 14/11/2018 11:34

wickedfairy · 14/11/2018 12:20
