High rise skinny jeans recommendations

Looking for recommendations for high rise skinny jeans in black and blue to go with ankle boots. I don't like ones with really thin, tight material on the legs so anything with thicker, stiffer denim, please. Small waist size, 30 inch leg so they stop at the ankle. Ideally on the high street to avoid ordering and returning a whole load.

No I got them from a seller on eBay not direct from the sites.

Both are still in stock though both on simply be and eBay. I will look now se if I can find them.

I buy this way as it's usually a bit cheaper.

Here is the eBay search for the simply be jeans. They come in different sizes not just 16.

Topshop Joni Jeans, Primark super skinny high waist (they're a dupe of the Joni), or New look Hallie are my go-to pairs!

I've literally just bought a fantastic pair from M and S this morning. I tried on about 15 pairs in various different shops (very fussy about skinny jeans) and these were perfect. Not too skinny (I hate the prayer on skin tight legging look) with a lovely high waist that flatters my tummy nicely. I got the dark blue ones but they also had black.

Second the Primark super skinny high waist...I'm a new convert. So comfy. But possibly don't fit the thickness requirement. Only £9 though .

Definitely prefer thicker denim. Also slightly suspicious of jeans that cost £9!

Next - flex, bi - stretch skinny

Bought my first pair of jeans from there on Saturday and they are fab. Really stretchy, nice high waist and thick denim. True to size as well.

I tried the lift, slim and shape and thought they were awful!

Also a next fan but Dorothy Perkins ‘Frankie’ are good too. They do a nice coated black pair (look like leather but very soft and comfortable)

Levis do a sky high skinny jean!

I've just discovered Gap True Curve Skinny jeans. Nice high waist, tight but not spray on, nice thick denim. I've got 4 pairs now & they're really comfortable & wash & wear well.

I like River Island Amelie. Nice thick denim and skinny!

I love Levi's but found the last pair of skinnies I tried very tight on the leg. I'll have another look though.

I'll have a good rummage on Saturday and report back!

I second Topshop Joni jeans. Although most wearers seem to be 14.
