I follow on Facebook and Instagram and it is shocking some of the things he posts. There was a big falling out a while back. It’s a brilliant ethos behind the brand, it’s a shame, there should have been a team running Social Media for him.

When he started posting the really odd things it really put fans off, it’s a wonder Estée Lauder haven’t severed ties.

His latest post is to Donald Trump:

I read an IG post this afternoon - estee lauder made some sort of court application to remove Brandon from the company and bring Nicola Milner in as CEO. I'm guessing to keep the company from closing.

He is very unwell and I hope he gets the help he needs.

I feel awful for all those poor people who work for the company and have suddenly found themselves unemployed. I hope there is some way another investor can take the company on somehow. I don't know if that's possible.

I live the ordinary's products, they have done absolute wonders for my skin and I've had so many compliments. The retinol and buffet products along have taken years off me and they're so cheap, too. As soon as I heard of this happening I stocked up from Cult Beauty.

What a shame.

Cynical me thinks that Estee Lauder will release the formulas in their own packaging at about ten times the price in the future.

I'm so shocked Brandon has died. I was following him on instagram but had to stop because it felt wrong...he was obviously very mentally unwell. He really needed someone to intervene. Such a sad end.

Probably, but Brandon was very good at marketing. And I'm not sure how good the products were...they never seemed to make much difference to me

Oh no that's sad. I clicked on his Instagram before I saw the recent posts and he was posting until yesterday.

Sad news. Apparently in his IG videos he was giving out his full address I can’t stop thinking that was a cry for help so someone would go and be with him.
