A 5ft 2, size 10, blonde, green/brown eyed 36 year old wedding guest, which of these dresses would be your preference and what would you style it with?

The burgundy one with the sleeves. The other two are just identikit wedding guest dresses.

Ooh, lovely choices. Hard to decide. I'd probably go green with some black court shoes and gold statement earrings

I like the burgundy shape of the last one but would prefer it in a different colour. If sticking with that colour maybe a black velvet heel. Jewellery would depend upon how you wear your hair.

Green is unlucky at a wedding and scarlet red is aupposed to be inappropriate.

Thank you. The scarlet red one is actually pink, I wouldn't wear red, never really do. I like the green and think I suit green. But the burgundy one was the one I picked out first and is maybe more autumn-y.

Burgundy with sleeves. If it fits! I'm 5 foot as well and everything is too big!

Burgundy one is lovely and autumnal or wintery, you could wear it at Christmas too.

@fishonabicycle yes, that's a big "if" and why I hate shopping. I should be able to at least get a few inches off the bottom if need be. But where the waist, etc. sits is also an issue

Burgundy one is gorgeous and perfect for an autumn/ winter do. In fact I've got a posh Christmas do I need a dress for...might give it a go myself!

Just looking at the waistline. It looks as if it's quite high, so you might find it sits well on your petite frame.
I'm 5' 7 and I would expect that would come well above my natural waist.

Oh, it comes in green and navy! I really like both, but I always veer towards green.

Still love the burgundy, but green would look fab with your colouring. Also great for Christmas. Imagining a vibrant red lipstick with it. Lovely.

I have the green velvety one. The green is a bit brighter in real life. I'm very booby and it fits me well.

I like the navy one and have silver sandals, bag etc to go with it, so that's a start, but no idea what colour jacket or wrap I'd wear? Silver would seem too much.

All three are lovely dresses, but my first thought about the burgundy was “you need boobs to pull that off”. But it’s a lovely autumnal colour and the sleeves are very elegant. With any of them, I’d go for a faux fur cover-up- a wrap or bolero- and play up the 50s siren look of them.

I am the same height and colouring. I tend to go for green. (It’s my favorite colour though...)

I think I'm going to order the green and buy a really good boob job bra
