Tbh, I have a very small wardrobe now (literally, it’s tiny in the house in England!), but I love everything in it. In the past, it’s been a combo of senior civil service requirements, then consulting and a lot of travelling, and on top of that being plus size. You so often have to buy something because ‘it will do’ in the moment, but there is no pleasure, satisfaction or longevity in it.
Re HoC - I wasn’t impressed. It was my treat/reward for moving from obese to simply overweight last August, but I thought it was a total rip off. The consultant was awful, so that didn’t help, but I didn’t actually like any of my colours. Being dressed in pastels was so not me. And there was so much ‘popping’ of colour going on, it gave me the heebie jeebies. I was talked/cajoled/encouraged/harassed to buy some Kettlewell stuff, and it is nice quality, just boring.
