Samantha2018 · 18/09/2018 19:39

I'm going out in a jumpsuit and some boots at the weekend

Loveagoodbook · 18/09/2018 19:39

Just a few drinks in Liverpool, early afternoon/evening.
So want to look smart, just fed up of black skinnies!

maybe you could try a jumpsuit?

Loveagoodbook · 18/09/2018 20:42

I have a nice black skirt, so maybe i just need a blouse for that

Floral mini dress , thick black tights, ankle boots and leather jacket

Changedforpost · 18/09/2018 20:49

Jumpsuit is my go to outfit. So easy to wear, lots of different styles to suit every figure and they are sexy and classy without showing any skin.

heattreated · 18/09/2018 20:50

i know you're fed up with skinnies but they still look great.

shorts, tights/no tights, heels, blazer nice handbag is my go to when i'm on the lower end of my weight yo-yo.

WingingWonder · 18/09/2018 20:51

Leather skirt in black
Silk cami
Jacket chucked on, usually black
Fabulous heels

Bluntness100 · 18/09/2018 20:53

I'm a jeans person also. I seldom wear black ones though and tend to wear more dark indigo, or distressed denim, then highish suede boots, and a good top, I like sleeveless like this one, but you can get so many smart tops you can change your outfit up.

I'd buy some different coloured skinnies if that's what your comfy in.

I have a black jumpsuit or alternatively a black leather skirt both worn with killer heels.

hammeringinmyhead · 18/09/2018 21:07

Um... Black skinnies! But if not, a black pencil skirt, floaty shirt open over a cami (current fave is white with black stars from TK Maxx) and heeled ankle boots.

Judydreamsofhorses · 18/09/2018 21:11

I’m going out on Friday for food and then to see a band. My planned outfit is a leather, a-line skirt which comes just above the knee (Jigsaw) with opaque tights, a fine-knit black and white striped jumper (Hush) and chunky brogues (Dune). I’ll wear an over-sized denim jacket outside (Topshop). I also wear a lot of culottes, either with brogues or Stan Smiths, again with fitted, light knit tops. I suspect I am a bit scruffy for this thread though!

glasshalfsomething · 18/09/2018 21:14

Always black skinnies. High heels (often in colour) and a silk cami for a glam eve, tan heeled boots and a more casual top for other occasions. In the summer, I wear grey or whit3 skinnies, in to autumn/winter it's navy and black.

It's boring and predictable, so occasionally I swap for a shirt dress!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 18/09/2018 21:30

Non- black jeans, cami top and a leather jacket?
Slouchy jumper dress and boots when colder
I work in an office so pencil skirts for nights out make me feel like I’m going to work- nah!

Loveagoodbook · 18/09/2018 21:41

Thanks everyone, im still non the wiser!! I need to go and have a wonder round the shops and see what catches my eye. I have some dark blue jeans, that are for 'best' but never feel overally dressed up in them somehow.

Bluntness100 · 18/09/2018 21:50

Do they fit well? A good silk top and some high boots and you woild be fine.

Being dressed up in jeans depends much on your footwear, top and hair and make up.

slippermaiden · 18/09/2018 21:52

Jeans and a nice top, or a dress, or denim skirt and nice top?

Loveagoodbook · 18/09/2018 21:58

They fit ok Bluntness, ill have a look for a nice top. I dont go out that often, so never like spending much on going out clothes.

Dark blue jeans with black suede over the knee boots and a silk blouse in a jewel colour.

Pencil skirt in a print, black crew neck fine knit sweater, great large necklace. Good heeled court shoes.

Tuxedo front black jumpsuit with silver heels.

Cream ruffled shirt, grey culottes, sling back flats. Big hoop earrings and metallic clutch. Worn with leather biker jacket.

Boat neck navy top, tucked into high waisted 7/8 trousers and either flat pointy sling backs in yellow or silver heels

Leather a line skirt worn with a plain white t shirt and good heels. Messy hair and red lipstick.

Bluntness100 · 18/09/2018 22:05

What about a fitted blazer ? You could then wear a cami under it.

However you can pick up some lovely tops quite cheaply.
