What do you all wear for a night out?

Im fed up with the black skinnies uniform i always seem to wear!
I need some style imsperation for a night out with the girls 😀
Im 43, 5ft4 and a pear shape if that helps

A really pretty silky cami with some lace trim, a blazer, heels and a good bag would look great.

I've been considering buying a black leather pencil skirt for a while now for this exact reason. I havent found the right one though. Otherwise, have you considered faux/leather leggings instead of black skinnies? I also think at night most ppl dont notice what you wear on your bottom half anyway and youre better off focusing on getting some great tops if you feel most comfortable in skinnies.

I am yearning for a black floral midi dress from the Kooples for going out (I'm a slim 40). It's a bit ££ though.

I have a black corduroy dungaree dress. Can be dressed up or down.

I’m going midi pleated skirt and boots this weekend, with a silk top and leather jacket. Lots of friends last weekend in midi dresses or leopard print numbers as well as jumpsuits. Posh town bar if that helps..

I'd wear that with indigo (or white skinnies in warmer weather) and a navy blazer, and of course the obligatory high boots.

I'm out on a rare night out this weekend and am contemplating wearing a brightly coloured maxi dress with dark denim fitted jacket and pink converse type shoes. I'm 37, 5'9" and pear shaped. Not sure if it'll work though...too casual?

Misty 9, i thought the same i have a striped maxi dress, but its rather thin, so would probably freeze in it! 😂

That is such a pretty top Op, I would pick out one of the colours in in and wear a skirt in that colour (not teal as that would be too much). Shoes and jacket (wrap, blazer) in one of the other colours and good to go.

I would also wear an understated and simple necklace/earring set. Nothing fussy as the top has enough going on in it, so a pair of diamond studs and a solitair pendant type thing.

I always wear skinnies-though dark blue jeans, not black. Boots/heels and usually a lacy top.

On my last night out (friends garden party so casual) I wore a khaki pencil skirt, long sleeve leopard body, khaki converse hi tops and fishnets. I'm going out on Saturday to a birthday party and I'm wearing a faux leather midi skirt, skinny rib top with burnt orange coloured heels (not sure what tights yet)

Its a few years old now. But i dont wear that often, it was from River Island
