Confidence crisis

Name changed as totally outing myself....

Wedding on Sat (evening do only) and I have nothing to wear. I have a few dresses but have put on half a stone and can’t do them up.
I’ve had a rubbish time lately and I just want to feel good in something.
I went to phase eight today (usually one of my staples) and the assistant was super helpful and I tried on everything in the shop and these were the best of a bad bunch.....

The trousers and top are unflattering I think but quite versatile. The petrol dress is probably the best of a bad bunch as the neckline is good for my humongous tits, but it hangs funny and from the side looks like a maternity dress.
The purple dress in my view looks awful from the back and the neckline is too high for me...

Help ladies. Any suggestions for my shape?

From the photos the last one looks best - in fact it looks really nice, especially with those shoes

LittleWingSoul · 17/09/2018 19:53

I think the middle dress looks absolutely gorgeous on you and is perfect for an Autumnal evening wedding do. Once you've got a nice pair of heels on, hair andmake up done I bet you'll feel really fab. It accentuates your assets really well whilst cinching you in nicely under the bust.

bigsighall · 17/09/2018 19:56

2 or 3 I think look lovely

SpeckledyHen · 17/09/2018 20:06

My vote goes to 2 . It looks really lovely on you .

MikeUniformMike · 17/09/2018 20:08

The middle one looks great on you.

EdinaMonsoon · 17/09/2018 20:09

Definitely number 2. The colour & silhouette look lovely on you.

mimibunz · 17/09/2018 20:09

I love the third one. It fits well, and you’ve got a smashing figure!

NellMangel · 17/09/2018 20:12

It looks like phase 8 took you hostage.

Two looks lovely. Three is also good but I prefer 2.

It's hard to see 1.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 17/09/2018 20:12

Third one, nice fit and flattering.

thornyhousewife · 17/09/2018 20:50

Outfit two looks fantastic on you. Have a great time!

BigBairyHollocks · 17/09/2018 20:53

Another vote for the middle dress. Looks good in the photo.

PurpleNailVarnish · 17/09/2018 21:01

Firstly, I'm sorry your self confidence has taken a dip because honestly? You really do look great.

2 looks lovely on you, it's my favourite but 3 looks good too.
I can't see 1 very well.

Of the two Bravissimo dresses I like them both and they would both suit you. I think you'd feel more comfortable in the first one as you'd feel less 'exposed' in longer sleeves at an Autumn wedding but clearly blue suits your colouring and I'm not sure about black for a wedding?

Needahairbrush · 17/09/2018 21:02

No 2 looks fab!

Badhairday1001 · 17/09/2018 21:06

Number 2 looks fab! I like 3 as well but 2 is my favourite.

hendricksy · 17/09/2018 21:20

2 looks amazing imo .. first outfit is awful .. you look like a different person in the second one! Get it!!

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 17/09/2018 21:25

Definitely dress #2 - you look really great in it!

Outedmyself · 17/09/2018 21:35

You’re all so lovely. I agree 2 is the best but I just “didn’t feel it” and I have no idea whether that’s because the dress isn’t right or to do with where my head’s at!
I’m off to a second hand dress agency tomorrow so i’ll see what they have to offer.

I showed DH who is completely unable to pass judgement and who thinks they all look lovely. And when I asked him what he’s going to wear, announced that it’s not until the weekend so he has plenty of time to decide!

I feel like I at least have a back up plan, although it’s a lot to spend on a dress that I feel “will do”.
Is there anywhere else and any other styles I should look at?
I tried on a couple of jumpsuits and they just screamed “last years sack of spuds” st me.

I thought 2 and 3 looked nice but I liked 3 the most.
