Help!! I am trying to sort my appearance out after losing myself a bit as a shm for 3 years. I have booked in for a restyle next week but no idea what to ask for. Currently have hanging curtain hair.

On the plus side i've lost 5 stone in the last year so I actually have a face shape again

On the negative side the weight loss means i've lost a lot of hair and although it has now started to grow back it is very thin.

I have quite good cheekbones (i think) and it the past having a fringe wide to expose them looked good but dont know if i'm too jowly now or would emphasise the roundness of my face?

I want to be brave and really go for it so please inspire me

Isn"t the style suggested by lapin exactly what the OP has now only shorter and more styled? It's very nice but imo essentially the same.

Have you been yet?

Some of these styles look incredibly high maintenance to me. Mine's in an asymmetric bob - shorter one side than the other - it's thick, obedient hair. Even with a very, very good cut it takes a fair bit of faffing to style it.
