And cost per wear has it been worth it?
My boots about £80 and I've worn them three times (one around the house) so big fat NO! and handbag (also £80 ) never used but I love it

My Omega watch followed by a Jigsaw coat.

WavyTree · 06/09/2018 17:22

Barbour winter force parka about 6/7 years ago. I paid £260 for it which was a crazy amount for me at the time (never spent more than £40 on a coat before then!) but I've worn it constantly every winter since!

I have a pink velvet Gucci Marmont, it was about £1400 but I wear it every day and I love it.

The dress I bought for my silver wedding anniversary, it was just over £100 and I wear it a couple of times a year

Sarcelle · 08/09/2018 03:37

An Orla Keiley (correct spelling) leather bag - 280 quid. Used it most days last Autumn, Winter and Spring. Will be using it again this Autumn onwards too. A good buy.

A Longines watch - about 500 quid. Wore it everyday for a few years but don’t wear it anymore.

Sarcelle · 08/09/2018 03:37

Was asking if that was correct spelling, not telling you!

StylishMummy · 08/09/2018 04:49

Chanel GST, £1,399 preloved (designer exchange)

Omega constellation, had since 21 and never not worn unless I'm pregnant (swelling)

Barbour wax jacket is probably lowest CPW, paid £225 in 2012 and still looks as new, worn every day September- April

AsleepAllDay · 08/09/2018 05:16

I'm thinking of buying a Bayswater (probably secondhand) but I'm hard on bags, always spilling bottles and pen marks!

loobylou10 · 08/09/2018 08:17

Don’t buy a natural oak one then!

Sarahandduck18 · 08/09/2018 08:19

£300 coat

StylishMummy · 08/09/2018 08:29

@AsleepAllDay try the facebook groups for preloved, Mulberry Swap & Sell is brilliant, the admin verify everything and most worked at Mulberry so you know they're genuine. I have a black Bayswater with silver hardware that's been BATTERED for 5-6 years and still looks brilliant

AsleepAllDay · 08/09/2018 09:07

@StylishMummy great shout, thank you! X

mermaidbutmytailfelloff · 08/09/2018 09:15

Mine was a jaeger jacket bought by my mum in about 1978 or something for £40. Everyone thought it was insane paying so much for a jacket. I took it when she died and still wear it, and it is still in fabulous condition.

I always think about cost per wear for a good haircut and colour. If you bought something that cost say £100 but wore it 24 hours a day for 6 weeks you would think it bloody good value!

DontCallMeCharlotte · 08/09/2018 11:49

A dark grey wool swing coat I bought for £400 before my Mum died which was 20 years ago. I commuted in it for years and still wear it now as it still looks like new and has just never dated. Amazing value for money.

BikeRunSki · 08/09/2018 15:03

Toast parka, £270
It’s warm, smart/casual
It’s not waterproof, which is a shame, but I love it.

delphguelph · 08/09/2018 15:05

Handbag was about £250.
Got a North Face coat that was about £200.

Want a new watch and am willing to spend £500 on it.

Let's face it, I'm worth it! GrinWine

delphguelph · 08/09/2018 15:07

You should sell me your watch, sarcelle Wink
