Life changing jeggings

Just wanted to share my little find with you.
I wear skinny jeans a lot but I hate how the button/zip area shows through if I'm wearing a tight fitting or thin top so I decided to try some jeggings. Tried a few pairs on and bought 2 which solved the button problem. Last week I bought a pair from M&S and they have done amazing and magical things for my body. I bought my usual size which seemed a little too small but I finally wriggled into them and WOW!
I have slim legs but quite flabby thighs which are not in proportion with my lower legs so I usually wear longer length tops when I'm in skinnies to hide them. These jeggings slim my thighs down so much that I'm able to wear normal length tops/jumpers with them. They also seem to push up my ample but slightly saggy bum. I cannot believe how flattering these jeggings are. Only £15 and they do them in loads of colours and 3 lengths. I've just ordered them in charcoal and another pair in black.
I really can't recommend them highly enough. If you do buy any make sure you get your normal size, they will seem a bit too small but once they're on they are so comfy and flattering. Can't believe how excited I am about a pair of 15 quid jeggings but they are the best item of clothing I've bought in years!

Have to say the stylist online at M&S Is also fab. Definitely worth a try ladies. M&S have some great clothes in at the moment.

bodiddly · 05/09/2018 08:03

I agree wholeheartedly - I found these a couple of weeks ago and need to order some different colours as I wear them all the time now. They are higher waisted which makes them comfy.

I bought a pair of these last week too. My first ever jeggings so have nothing to compare them with but I also really like them. I'm an apple shape so won't be wearing any top shorter than top of thigh with them but they are more comfortable than my skinny jeans for half the price & they do strangely make me feel slimmer. Just google m&s jeggings and they're the £15 ones.

Lizzy1980 · 05/09/2018 09:10

Will post link now.
Yes Meandmoo, they're high waisted so no muffin top at all. Flat belly, perky bum and slim legs. I've practically lived in them since I got them Smile

I'm 5.10" so I got the long leg and they're a perfect length. I really hope you ladies love them as much as I do. Please let me know if you do.

I think I've got about 10 pairs of these!!! They are fantastic, so comfortable and still smart enough to get away with for work with a naice blouse or shirt. It's nice to know that M & S are still getting some of the basics right.

birthdayboo · 05/09/2018 09:18

I'm going to order some I think

Checked out the reviews and Lizms amused me

"I don't want to write anything here, haven't the time"

HmmGrin

The black are really jet black aren't they. I've had to order a spare for when they start to fade (as black jeans inevitably do) so I've got a pair for going out.

I’ve just ordered 2 pairs, black and mid blue. Hope they’re as good as they sound!

Lizzy1980 · 05/09/2018 09:56

Thanks for the tip Palmer1983, will have a look on Amazon.
They also do them on ebay but they're the same price as the M&S site

Hi, I have 2 pairs of the £15 jeggings and one pair of the £25 ones. But all have faded terribly after one or two washes (40 deg, normal load). I really liked them and was looking forward to wearing them as a wardrobe staple for work this winter, but am so disappointed at how faded and washed out they look already.
I found the £25 pair better for my pear shape, the fit well on the legs but not too loose on my waist.

Loonoon · 05/09/2018 10:17

I have ordered simein sizes 10 and 12 so I can see which fits best but am sad and bitter that the petite range only comes in 2 very boring colours.
