Absolutely can’t go wrong with Fly Salv Chelsea boots, just about to get my third pair so comfy warm and waterproof and come in about 6 colours.

Those ‘howdy’ cowboy boots are heinous. Heinous! They look like something Slash might wear if he wanted to look ‘a bit jazzy’. I don’t care how fashionable cowboy boots allegedly are, I just can’t.

I just bought the M&S DM style boots. Not my usual style but I love them.

@JillyArmeeen just be warned - DM's online site is really poor. The customer service is non existent and the returns process is horrendous. I would honestly sacrifice the discount and go in store. I ordered a pair in April, they didn't fit so I returned them, it took nearly 4 weeks for them to process the return and they didn't respond to any emails. It was a total farce.

Thanks Ella for the heads up, the idea is to try them on in schuh or wherever, then order the pair I like in my size online.
La reroute have 30% off everything at the moment.
Dm outlet shop is not too far from me so may try there although I doubt they have the plain black for much discount, might find a blue pair there.

Can anyone recommend a substitute for these Steve Madden November boots? Mine gave up the ghost at the end of last winter but would really like a similar pair (for when I’m not emulating jazzy-Slash ) I’ve tried eBay etc to see if I could get another pair of November’s but no joy.

Non leather, probably more for posing in than actually wearing IRL.
