never I will bring them to my tailor and discuss with her (she is the one who shortened both pairs). No sense in leaving them unworn and could look nice with a loose navy jumper.
In my classroom I have a bag containing various cardigans (from light to heavy), scarves, hats, gloves etc. I leave a raincoat, a puffa and a light jacket hanging up for yard duty so I can cover all weather eventualities. Usually I start the day with several layers until the body heat and central heating kick in!
Adding to that the fact that I am peri-menopausal, despite being on HRT I still can't handle anything too heavy or with a too-high neck. I have some gorgeous jumpers from All Saints and Me & Em that I can wear for about 20 mins before coming out in a heat rash. Still, though, I cannot be parted from them.
Mint velvet have some nice skirts this season - a red and black leopard print one in particular. Also I just read Doesmybumlook40's latest blog and she writes about pencil skirts. I have a couple of knee-length jersey skirts somewhere in the wardrobe and I am thinking of ways to add them to my current clothes on rotation.
oh!!! My burgundy DM-alikes from M&S arrived today. I have not tried them on yet but they look gorgeous and are low sold out in my size so I am glad I did not hang on in the hopes of a UK Bank Holiday 20% offer.
