That colour looks lovely on you Laska

AFingerofFudge · 25/08/2018 15:24

I love 😍that plum Marina skirt laska!!!

Laska5772 · 25/08/2018 15:30

Thanks.. it will be good going into Autumn I thought . The pink cashmere looks nice with that skirt also..

I would buy another marina skirt if Hush did it in other colours as its so versatile , ( love it with opaques and boots ) but they seem to have just stuck to black for a while .. A forest green would be really great...

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 15:56

Quickly tried on the dress and Its gorgeous but 2 of the buttons are sewn up still. What do I do with them? Read that some other people had this. Do I just cut them?

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 15:58

button holes are still sewn up!

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 16:02

Will get my dh to cut them with a sharp Stanley knife but its annoying.

SoyYo · 25/08/2018 16:11

Oh no never no idea what you could do other than carefully unpick?

laska really love you in those colours. Lovely with the Marina skirt. I can’t wear the Marina, tried the black (twice! 2 seasons in a row!) and the green print version and both times it just looked dreadful on me, despite my love for the style. On you it’s fabulous.
In the end I went for M in the pink cashmere jumper (also got the orange summer cashmere in M) as I know Hush L is always huge on me. I think the RocknRoll sweat is meant to be fitted (look at model pics) which is why it feels more snug than others. I’m still not sure, despite 👍 from never and red. I’ll try with black skinnies and then decide, it’s such a lot of hassle trying things on due to the star trooper boot which is quite complicated to take off and put on again did I mention how much I hate it 😉 I’ll think about it

cherries have a lovely holiday!

Fur coat inclined to keep after checking at New Look tomorrow. If quality/fit similar then I’ll probably change my mind...

SoyYo · 25/08/2018 16:14

skimbles thanks for using my Brand Alley code and Hope the jeans are perfect for you. Now I’ve got another £20 voucher to use at Brand Alley wonders off to have a wee look Wink

Nearlyadoctor · 25/08/2018 16:47

So my rather large order arrived....
Nana jumper is lovely but compared to what else is out there seems very expensive.
Leopard print leggings are great, M&S dupes although cheaper will be going back.
Camo jumper is just not me, really thin and more beige and grey than pink.
Love both the wide tops charcoal in crew neck and black in V.
Velour jeans arrived covered in fluff and I hate trousers that everything sticks to so they’re a no go.
As for the Britt parka I ordered an 8 and 10, they’re definitely less generous than other Hush items. I do like it but I’m not sure I love it enough, I feel I could find something I like better so will have a think over the weekend.
Sorry no pics as using daughters o old Kindle as I’ve left my phone in DH’s car.

Sounds a bit of a mixed bag then nearly The wide tops are great but they are pretty expensive. Pity there aren't really dupes out there [ well I haven't found any!] I have the velour trousers from previous years. Are they the skinny fit ones? Suzie trousers? I got mine in the sale for £40 last xmas. I have worn them loads. They do pick up a bit of fluff but not nearly as bad as a pair of white stuff ones I have in navy. I love them in grey on the website. I am wearing my leopard print legging today with black easy dress and my ankle boots :) Very comfy!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 17:04

I have the nana jumper. I really love it. It reminds me of Toast knitwear tbh and their knitwear is pricey. I think it is expensive but its gorgeously warm and cosy and don't regret spending the money on it if that helps. It also washes well.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 17:05

Interesting about the parka too. I read somewhere - on a blog that their clothes are becoming more tts this season.

Nearlyadoctor · 25/08/2018 17:12

Never do you machine wash the Nana, I do like it, it just seems such a lot of money for a basic grey jumper.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 17:15

No, Im sure that I hand washed it. I just dipped it in and out of some special wool for cashmere stuff that I had already and then squeezed it and spun it in the machine if I remember right. I just really loved it but could see me tossing it in a wool wash when its more worn!!! That's what im like!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 17:17

I wonder if they have changed it slightly. It had baby alpaca through it so it was kind of fluffy? It does look a bit different on the website. I say this because as soon as I got it, I fell in love with it.

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 17:18

Last seasons nana

Hush A/W 18 - the one where Hush no longer wants to be our friend.....
neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 17:19

It looks a lot thinner on the website now but it may just be the photo?

SoyYo · 25/08/2018 17:46

Another mixed bag nearly I agree things appear to be more TTS judging by the fit of the sweat I received. I wonder if it’s due to the many returns they must get with their random sizing, must cost a lot in processing/admin costs.
Tempted by the v neck too...

Laska5772 · 25/08/2018 18:14

Im after some charcoal jeans now these gap ones they dont have in my size, the Hush skinny Bailey are just too expensive, and the black stars i've tried and sent back already as just really too expensive . (though Id get them in a sale ) . I'd like boyfriend/girlfriend ones really.. Not sure if I am that keen on Boden .Anyone seen anything.?

neveradullmoment99 · 25/08/2018 18:20

Have you tried next laska? Some of their jeans are really good.

Ellapaella · 25/08/2018 18:25

@Laska5772 Tesco have them. I have a few pairs of TopShop Joni jeans in charcoal - they have them in every A/W.

AFingerofFudge · 25/08/2018 18:45

Ok so I have £606 worth of stuff in my basket and approx £120 PayPal balance to pay for it all Blush

How do I decide? In my basket is:

Tiger face tee
Melody floral dress
Cropped check trousers
Geena asymmetric skirt
Embroidered raglan tee
Long sleeved flock star tee
Harri faux fur jacket
Flock star print tee
Printed Amie joggers
Alexas frill tee

Help!! Maybe I'll just say sod it and get the Harri jacket!?!

Nearlyadoctor · 25/08/2018 18:53

The Nana is quite a heavy knit Never so I think it’s possibly very similar.

OP posts:
SoyYo · 25/08/2018 19:28

finger IF it was me I’d definitely order
Harriet coat ❤️
Flock star T short or long sleeved
Check trousers for work (matching jacket is already ooo in all sizes except 14 Shock)

Nearlyadoctor · 25/08/2018 19:30
