As above really.

What products do you use or have used that have surprised you because of their low price.

Obviously, people will have different definitions of budget prices.

Shampoos, make up, creams etc......All suggestions or recommendations welcome!

Thank you

Korean 'Italy' exfoliating wash cloths. Better than all the expensive exfoliators I've bought over the years.

Jaimx86 · 19/08/2018 22:23

Lacura Q10 Intensive serum - £2.99 Aldi.
www.aldi.co.uk/lacura-q10-multi-intensive-serum/p/080918177809600?gclid=Cj0KCQjwquTbBRCSARIsADzW88ybUCDO0acCY_JtPi5qUJJ7HSRrdHfVR-do0xor7_z__PkbNJS8m4MaAr_pEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=CNar2u2F-twCFVQT0wodTdEBow

I put it on top of my Decleor oil and then put a moisturiser on top. It adds an extra layer of moisture and makes my skin brighter. At £2.99 I also slather it on before my nightcream. It’s amazing!!

Hard nailbrush for washing feet. Better, faster and cleaner than exfoliators.

Dermol Bath - miles better for you than soap, saves moisturising afterwards and if you chuck in some cheap lavender oil, you get a litre of expensive-smelling and working bath oil.

Nose hair trimmer for cleaning up eyebrows between threading.

LockedOutOfMN · 19/08/2018 22:39

Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Strengthening Hair Mask in the yellowy/gold pot costs about 3 pounds for 300 ml. and it's a brilliant deep, detangling conditioner with a lovely smell.

Worked so much better on my long, highlighted hair than many much, much more expensive products, and only needs to be left on for a minute.

princessbear80 · 19/08/2018 23:17

I use almond oil to remove make up/cleanse. Get it from Morrison’s for about £2.50. Just as good as the Elemis cleansing balm my sister uses which is £££

Superdrug vitamin E facial serum, I absolutely swear by this stuff and it's only £3.99, I use it as a moisturiser and as a primer for foundation

Maybugger · 28/08/2018 08:12

Aldo 48 hour Activ antiperspirant deodorant - beats any other hands down!

Maybugger · 28/08/2018 08:13

Who's Aldo?
Aldi

sunshineseaside · 28/08/2018 08:31

Tried Super drugs own BB cream as they didn't have my "usual" one in and it was surprisingly OK. A little bit heavier so didn't need as much but still smelt and felt nice. Would have purchased again - as is a great price for product - but didn't have my colour tone.

QuoadUltra · 28/08/2018 08:33

Boots own hand and nail cream - about £1.99 I think.

It is amazing.

sunshineseaside · 28/08/2018 08:35

Palmer's Cocoa Butter is also so good and smells divine. I used the oil when pregnant and have been obsessed ever since.

Also the gradual tanner is really lovely - don't need a lot for a lovely tan. I use the gradual tanner and then go over again with the moisturiser to ensure no streaks ,Grin

Body shop vitamin C serum-smells lovely and makes my skin feel like velvet

keepingbees · 28/08/2018 08:47

I bought the new Poundland #6 Derma serum last week not expecting much. It's amazing! I have really difficult greasy, flaky, sensitive skin that reacts to everything and this is great! Doesn't sting or react, non greasy and seems to plump my skin up and make it smooth. Only annoying thing is I'm allergic to almonds and there's almond oil in the day and night creams so I can't try those Sad

Cakefairy1978 · 28/08/2018 10:11

Nivea creame at night. My skin is soft in the morning

GVmama · 28/08/2018 11:44

My favorite budget buys are;

Garnier BB cream- love that stuff, a quick swipe in the morning makes me look much more human if I don't have time for full foundation and blending etc.
Almond oil- I use it as a facial oil, bath oil, hair smoothing oil, loads of uses
MUA (Superdrug) Amplify statement lash mascara- smudge proof, pretty much water proof. Fantastic mascara at a great price.
Wilko passion fruit and green tea conditioner- from from sulfates, silicone, parabens, mineral oil and any other nasties for under £1 a bottle. I use it to co-wash and condition, and use it between washes in a plastic spray bottle to give my curls definition. Amazing stuff. Amazing I tells ya!

bert3400 · 28/08/2018 11:48

Aldi non perfumed/ no Parabem shower gel, a fraction of the price than Sanex and leaves my skin really hydrated . Best shower gel I've ever tried

Destinysdaughter · 28/08/2018 16:49

Poundland do a great liquid eyeliner. It’s not waterproof but has a great brush to help draw on those tricky lines!

feathermucker · 28/08/2018 16:51

These are great, thank you!

Nivea Soft face cream. Amazing stuff and they almost give it away, it's so cheap.

Whatsnewwithyou · 28/08/2018 19:46

Creightons Beautiful Brunette shampoo and conditioner for £1 each! They leave my hair in much better condition than the John Frieda ones. www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/291557921

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 28/08/2018 20:12

Boots pink curl Creme. Cheap and brilliant.

Nuffaluff · 28/08/2018 20:15

Have ditched the eye makeup remover wipes. I’ve got washable fluffy cloths from primark. Three in a pack for a couple of quid. Much better for the environment and really effective.
