I like them but I am mid 50's which maybe an old lady to you!!

Vitalogy · 01/07/2018 13:38

No. The wedge would be thinner.

LostInShoebiz · 01/07/2018 13:43

No. They’re nice.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/07/2018 14:10

They're lovely !

Chanelprincess · 01/07/2018 15:10

I think they look like they're suitable for someone over 50 with foot problems.

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 01/07/2018 16:39

I like them. But I am 56 😊

legolimb · 01/07/2018 16:52

I like them. I wouldn't class then as being as old lady as the Hotter sandals I purchased yesterday. ( soooo comfy).

Umm I'm 50. Not an old 50.

saltedliquorice · 01/07/2018 16:52

I like them but I am in my early fifties and have foot problems. Depends on your age outlook and how much walking you intend to do in them.
But tell you what if your are planning on doing much walking if you wear something too high fashion you’ll end up walking like an over 50 year old with foot problems anyway. 😂
I bought some from FITFLOP i will try and find a photo.

saltedliquorice · 01/07/2018 16:57

I have just bought these which aren’t dissimilar worn them all day and very comfortable and feel excellent for your posture.

Are these old lady sandals?
sunshinesupermum · 01/07/2018 16:58

They are very similar to a pair of Clarks sandals I bought last year. Prob more for older footwearers like me lol

Verbena87 · 01/07/2018 17:00

Yeah, a bit, but I bought some quite similar timberland sandals in tk maxx last summer and they are ridiculously comfy. Plus when I wore them to work some of my (quite cool) GCSE students asked where they were from in a genuine, not-sarcastic way, so maybe I’m out of touch with where the old lady/cool boundary is (I’m 31)

flumpybear · 01/07/2018 17:11

I'm 46 and don't like them, they're a bit frumpy imo I'd go for something like this

StopTakingAllTheGoodNames · 01/07/2018 18:26

I think they look great! I would wear them and I'm 27. I see a lot of young people wearing these sort of sandals

whatashower · 01/07/2018 18:33

If by old lady you mean probably comfortable and probably unlikely to give you painful blisters or lasting damage to your feet, then yeah. If you mean embarrassing, too sensible, everyone will note them and snigger, then no (but who cares anyway, really). Trying to walk with sore or raw feet is the pits.
😀

goose1964 · 01/07/2018 18:52

I'm in my 50s too they look comfy but the flatform is too big for many people in their 60s or 70s to want to wear them

Mercurial123 · 01/07/2018 19:05

I like them, make the most of comfortable shoes being in fashion.

Spam88 · 01/07/2018 19:15

I can imagine my retired neighbour wearing them 🤔

Hisnamesblaine · 01/07/2018 21:04

Yeh. I'm late 30s and think they look old. It's the white bit. Sorry!

Ceebs85 · 01/07/2018 21:47

Ok interesting. I've ordered some as they're free returns anyway. I'm 32, pregnant and sweating my tits off. I need comfort!

DON’T BUY THEM DON’T BUY THEM DON’T BUY THEM.

They look like the sort of sandals prosperous octagenarians wear on cruises. Not a compliment.

ShesSoUnusual · 01/07/2018 22:15

I'm 40 and I'd wear them.

Mercurial123 · 02/07/2018 08:05

Old lady sandals are fashionable I love these but way above my budget

makeupmaven · 02/07/2018 08:08

They're frumpy. It's because the straps are so thick and the base so chunky. Sorry!

NameChangeUni · 02/07/2018 11:10

I’m 22 and think they’re quite frumpy. Especially as I doubt you’d be wearing white trousers with them constantly. They would look awful with denim for example.

The rose gold straps are cute but there’s 1000s of sandals with rose gold straps out there.

I don’t like the placement of the straps or the thickness of the sole, or the white sole. It’s a bit gross. Would look nicer with a tan sole.

These are better:

Ceebs85 · 02/07/2018 20:04

Well I've ordered them now but free returns so we'll see!
