Looks great!

Iamblossom · 28/06/2018 20:57

mrsjoker I think you look fab - you are obviously much taller than me, mine touches the floor!

I saw an older woman in one of these in white. I'm afraid it looked hideous!
It was too see through. But I can see it would look better in a darker colour.

elQuintoConyo · 28/06/2018 21:04

Oh good lord they look so comfortable! mrsjoker you look great, love the pattern.

And as for the flying squirrel comment - all the more reason for me to buy one Grin

...or 3...

goose1964 · 28/06/2018 21:26

These are no longer very cheap

Brickshed7 · 28/06/2018 21:49

Mrsjoker you look lovely. I’m very tall, those who have them, do you think they would be too short for someone over 6ft?

TIA

2018SoFarSoGreat · 28/06/2018 22:09

well thanks for sharing this - I've ordered two :)

FourForYouGlenCoco · 28/06/2018 22:58

I’ve bitten the bullet and ordered one of these - they look right up my street! Will report back when it arrives Smile also not a majorly long term concern but wondering if I’d be able to bf in it? People who already own one, would it pull down enough to get a boob out the top?

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 29/06/2018 00:04

would it pull down enough to get a boob out the top?. Yes probably - it’s just like a jersey vest so I guess might stretch the straps a bit but certainly with mine you could knock it off one shoulder easily enough I think.

BlameItOnTheNeon · 29/06/2018 00:21

I was also a bit suspicious about how they'd look on a non model until MrsJoker posted the pic, but MrsJoker it looks amazing on you, so much better then the model pictures!!

Now off to see if I can get one on Amazon outside of the UK :)

Gah ive ordered it in black after seeing it on you op. It’ll prob be bloody knee length on me Confused

MrsJoker · 29/06/2018 10:00

Thank you everyone! I love mine. I’m 5:6 and size 18, shorter in leg, long from waist to bum - in case this helps anyone sizing wise. I bought the 16-18 and I’m definitely a size 18 but wondered if the next size up would be too gaping. The leg holes can be pulled up over my (ample knees) - there is some give but not a lot. I imagine it would accommodate a prosthetic leg ok. And the top would be very handy from breastfeeding.

And lol to the flying squirrel comments - my husband calls it my batman suit.

MsHomeSlice · 29/06/2018 10:51

I might get the spotty one...I could just wear it at home if anyone dd points and laughs.

what about chub rub? are they very haremy? will I need cycle shorts too?

I am imagining myself wafting through the airport in the summer, the epitome of cool freshness, and not like the usual harassed boiled sweaty pixie.

MrsJoker · 29/06/2018 11:13

Looks great lamblossom.
You would get chub rub if you are doing a lot of walking but you can kind of tuck the middle in and it’s not too bad. I’m on hols at the minute and spent a few hours walking about yesterday (nearly 8000 steps) and I was ok.

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 29/06/2018 11:48

Here you go! I’m 5’3” and a 16/18

Here it is in full flying squirrel mode Grin

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 29/06/2018 11:51

I first found it while looking for Lagenlook after reading about it on here. Some of their stuff is a bit frump-tastic but some of it is gorgeous. All drapey and easy to wear.

AveABanana · 29/06/2018 16:36

OMG I see the flying squirrel thing Grin

elQuintoConyo · 30/06/2018 13:27

MyRelationshipIsWeird fantastic photos Grin

OP, did that duck eat your parrot? Arrrrr Jim lad!

theladylovescupcakes · 30/06/2018 14:15

Mine arrived this morning, I love it! I had to knot the straps to hitch it up as it was a bit low cut for me. Hadn't planned to wear it out of the house, but love the Cons/denim jacket idea for travelling in, would be v comfy for the plane.

Bugjune · 30/06/2018 14:20

I'm dying at full flying squirrel mode pic. Grin

Momzilla82 · 30/06/2018 14:21

Do you think I could wear this (one of the colourful ones) to a festival with wellies? Or would that be ridiculous?

Moonkissedlegs · 30/06/2018 14:25

What are they like round the bottom, like are they cuffed? I'm quite short but if bottoms are cuffed I'm OK with them.

FreezerBird · 30/06/2018 14:26

I was nearly converted to these but I can't unsee the flying squirrel picture!

Loonoon · 30/06/2018 14:29

I’ve ordered one in khaki. Very excited to try it on.
