THANK YOU.

Been desperately searching for hareem/jumpsuit things to wear during this pregnancy and this looks perfect! Will order some new bandeaus to go under it :)

PilchardsonToast · 07/07/2018 10:29

@SandAndSea - I'm a 12-14 but bought the 14-16 it is snug around d the neck to get into!

SandAndSea · 07/07/2018 10:35

@PilchardsonToast - Thanks!

I bought my normal size. It's a bit tight under the arms but otherwise good. I showed DP, expecting him to tell me to send it back but instead he said, "Wow! That's sexy!" This is extremely unusual - I almost never fit the clothes I buy and usually end up sending them back.

SandAndSea · 07/07/2018 10:37

@SpanielPlusToddler - Mine's stretchy.

SandAndSea · 07/07/2018 10:40

What shoes are people wearing with this? I haven't got anything with a thong.

BlueAir · 07/07/2018 10:49

Are they for all ages or would you say there's a cut off age for wearing one of these?

itsaldramarama · 07/07/2018 11:42

@SpanielPlusToddler the plain ones are stretchy jersey but I think the pattern ones are not :( my skulls and roses one isn't as draped and smaller than the navy

madeyemoodysmum · 07/07/2018 11:47

Sending mi e back is is ridiculously big and looks terrible

MizCracker · 07/07/2018 12:00

7yo DD requested a couple of squirrel suits of her own and has been wafting around in one this morning Grin It’s so big it’ll probably still fit her when she’s 10.

MonkeysMummy17 · 07/07/2018 12:41

I too am of the wooly farm animal variety, waiting impatiently for the arrival of squirrel suits and my super stylish self to emerge possibly wishful thinking

Iamblossom · 07/07/2018 12:44

I'm just wearing flip flops

Trying to get my head around some of you not being able to get your heads in...mine is super stretchy t-shirt material

Will I look stupid in it if I'm 5ft 10?

SpanielPlusToddler · 07/07/2018 13:48

I attacked mine with a quick unpick down the side seam, so I could try it on. Quite like it, but it’s a bit tight round the boobs. So now I can’t send it back, it doesn’t fit and the seam is unpicked 🙈 Wish I’d bought a stretchy plain coloured one!

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 07/07/2018 14:09

I second the request downthread for a photo or diagram of how to do the pockets, if anyone is able. Am hopeless with a needle and thread and I can't work out how to sew them so they stay inside, iyswim.

Just received the eBay lagenlook dress this morning and it is absolutely gorgeous - really spacious, great length and lovely pockets. Am wearing it today and feel like I am in Provence. Will order another once I have checked it washes ok.

GreenBox53 · 07/07/2018 14:17

ijust can you post a link to your dress please?

Moonkissedlegs · 07/07/2018 14:25

I didn't want to do a photo but I will attempt to describe how to do the pockets:

  1. with the suit on, tuck the pockets in as far as they will go
  2. reach down the front of the jumpsuit and grab the two pockets from the inside, the two pointy bits
  3. either tie the two pointy bits from either side together with a knot (this does create a bit of of lump), pin them together with a safety pin, tie them together with a hair bobble, or stitch them together. I find tying them together with a hair bobble is easiest and secure.

So when you look down the front of the jumpsuit on the inside, the excess fabric from the pockets is joined together in the middle sort of at your belly. Because there is a lot of excess fabric you can't see it from the outside.

If you take it off, then when put put it back on, just make sure the bit where the pockets are tied together is in front of where you put your legs not behind.

I thinks that's probably as clear as mud!

itsaldramarama · 07/07/2018 14:28

@Moonkissedlegs that's exactly how I did my navy one

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 07/07/2018 14:35

Thank you so much for @Moonkissedlegs - that's really clear and makes sense now! I hadn't realised you actually joined them together.

@GreenBox53 - it's this one:

rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F192574195934

It's a really good length. I am 5'7" and it's on my knees at the front and slightly longer at the back.

dontticklethetoad · 07/07/2018 14:52

If anyone would like to buy a black 16/18 (suit bigger imo), pm me. If they were ankle length I would definitely have kept them.

dontticklethetoad · 07/07/2018 14:56

Is this one.

I started a thread on these jumpsuits I bought from Amazon....
Oopsmeagain · 07/07/2018 17:35

Thanks ollivander have just ordered one Smile

MoltonSilver · 07/07/2018 17:58

I really don't get it.

I've seen two women in the last week wearing these and they looked like giant Andy Pandys.

GinandGingerBeer · 07/07/2018 20:38

Well two people today have complimented me on mine, and ordered one themselves 🤷🏻‍♀️
Definitely needs the pockets tying or sewing together inside. I've ordered one in teal too. Super comfy and easy to wear.

SpanielPlusToddler · 07/07/2018 21:01

@dontticklethetoad I’ve PMd you.

Villanelle · 08/07/2018 03:03

I saw a wide leg version of these on ebay while having a sneaky browse at work and now I can't find it! Does anyone have a link?
