Do I grunge/rock my wedding dress?

Hi guys,

Finally picked my wedding dress. I have silver Gina strappy sandals to wear with it............but I'm so tempted to grunge/rock it up change the sash to a belt and wearing a leather jacket.

If I were to do that what shoes? I don't want to regret wearing the wrong shoes.

Or shall I leave as is?

(Ps the dress is big and needs taking in)

I wasn’t conventional either - you know what stands out in my photos - I have the biggest grin and the best memories. My photos don’t look like everyone else’s, they captured us in a moment on time and I am so bloody glad I didn’t do what everyone expexted - I stayed true to who I was and doing that was ore of a battle than it ever should have been right down to telling the florist I just wanted a bunch of daisies. Don’t allow the dress or the day or people’s expectations to wear you - you’ll look back at the pics and think why did I allow that - it isn’t me,

Thanks guys. Your all making me smile Grinit's great to hear about your weddings.

We aren't having traditional centre pieces, we have glass candy skull trays with candles and cactuses. (Ok I'm actually getting excited talking about it)

enid it's lyrics from a song called go with the flow by Queen's if the Stone Age. It says " I want something good to die for, to make it beautiful to live" have quite a few tattoos although you can only see that one in the picture.

Do it!
I have a pair of McQueen boots with metal pointed toes that would rock with that dress.
Like these, but knee high with a metal toe:

I also have this belt, with silver, rather than gold:

That would look incredible!

The dress is gorgeous!

I agree, lose the generic, sparkly belt and go with cherry docs and a deep burgundy velvet sash belt instead.

Then keep the leather jacket for some awesome, atmospheric photos after the ceremony and your evening do.

Love it. I'd go with a narrow, black studded belt on the dress + biker ankle boots. Then an antique style, fringed shawl rather than a biker jacket?

just make sure you have fit for purpose shoes. dont be Meghan, lumbering up steps due to staggerers that were invisible anyway as she had a floor length dress. cringe making minutes there!
