Eyeliner with a brush not these damn felt tip things.

I cannot get along with these felty eyeliners they are thin, watery and slide off my eyes. In desperation I tried the Estee Lauder counter explaining my problem she sold me what she said was a brush eyeliner. Worked on my hand great. Trouble is when I looked closely it is another felt one. Where can I get proper brush ones that paint on and stay put for the duration.

You need a gel eyeliner in a pot and a decent winged eyeliner brush. The maybelline gel eyeliner is great for a cheap start. Zoeva do a decent brush too, can't remember the exact name. Try looking on beauty bay and search for eyeliner brush - there may be a cheaper alternative. Other good eyeliners are macs (may be called fluidline, can't quite remember) and inglot gel pot.

Bobbi brown

Branleuse · 03/06/2018 20:36

poundland. Seriously. Their eyeliner is great and has a brush

TiddlesUpATree · 03/06/2018 20:37

The Kat Von d one is a brush. It's really nice.

MrsJacksonBrodieTheSecond · 03/06/2018 20:39

Ive never found a better one than the Maybelline one.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 03/06/2018 20:40

Get gel eyeliner and get yourself to Cassart for a brush.

Madamswearsalot · 03/06/2018 20:41

I swear by Bobbi Brown for their gel eyeliner and their brush.

Ollivander84 · 03/06/2018 20:42

Maybelline definitely

stoplickingthetelly · 03/06/2018 20:42

The clinique one is also good and the pot doesn't dry out like some others do. It comes with a little brush, but that's not great to be honest.

SleepFreeZone · 03/06/2018 20:44

Don’t get ELF as I did recently and it’s too watery. I totally agree about the felt pens, they don’t work.

I spent quite a bit of time studying the Amazon reviews of liquid eyeliner and I was planning to try out one that had great reviews.

IWouldLikeToKnow · 03/06/2018 20:44

Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner and their brush. Have been using it for years and possibly the only product I've stayed loyal to for that long

Cupoteap · 03/06/2018 20:45

I bought one in Mac but haven't tried it yet

welshmist · 03/06/2018 20:45

Thanks, they all sound great will do some research. Tried Urban Decay once my eyelids burned and the skin peeled in the exact line the brush had followed Shock

Rimmel Exaggerate every time - little brush inside the lid. Goes on beautifully. Stats put till you take it off.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 03/06/2018 20:48

I started 'tightlining' with a Revolution eyeliner ( its a felt pen type but I liked the snazzy gold pen look Grin

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/06/2018 20:48

Rimmel do a good one. It's like a little cone shaped pot with a tiny pointed brush. I can't use any other.

I tried that bloody "tattoo" felt pen eyeliner everyone raves about but it comes off all over my eyelids after 5 minutes!

LizTaylorsFabulousTurban · 03/06/2018 20:51

I find the felt tip pen nib ones are watery unless I used a lid primer and then they go on (and stay on) like a dream.

nandaandm · 03/06/2018 20:58

I use Illamasqua gel liner which is great, but I equally love the maybelline one. The brush I use with Illamasqua one is from MAC. It's an angled brush.

CapnCabinet · 03/06/2018 21:03

I third Rimmel - very black and easy to control the brush.

SleepFreeZone · 03/06/2018 21:04

The Maybelline one seems to get poor reviews online. Rimmel fairs better. I think those felt tip liners work a lot better on bare eyelids. I think it’s the eyeshadow that screws then up in my case.

charliedontsurf · 03/06/2018 21:07

MAC liquidlast is the best one I've tried, I used to use the rimmel one years ago but it would smudge off during the day. The MAC one doesn't come off without heavy duty make up remover!

pinkfluffybunny · 03/06/2018 21:08

Primark or poundshop!!!! Seriously. Only £1 in either shop, and are fab. Lovely brushes, and very black. Just give them a try, even if you buy one and throw it straight in the bin in disgust! They're not going to break the bank, and You might just love them.

FinallyGotAnIPhone · 03/06/2018 21:11

I’m not sure if it’s officially a “brush” but I’ve been using body shop liquid eyeliner for years £9 comes in a little pot with a brush/ wand thing.

Brummiegirl15 · 03/06/2018 21:14

Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner. Absolutely
