I’m almost 36. Are they too short? Too unflattering? Bought them a couple of years ago now. Should I bin or give to my 6 year old niece??

No they look fine, embrace the fact you look great in them.
They are not tight daisy duke shorts so you have nothing to worry about.

Seriously, not a stealth boast. I know the legs aren’t completely god awful, but I’m under 5ft 2, so to me they are rather hobbity, and the massive bruise on my right leg isn’t showing up in that photo! I don’t find it easy to get my legs out to this degree.

But thanks, they may survive another summer based on your kind words

Nothing wrong with them! Me and my partner were out yesterday and there was a lass with the bottom part of her backside showing........ now they were too short!!

They are not too short because they are a totally respectable length and look nice. If you wanted a more flattering pair I’d fgo for another inch or two because they cut across your thighs at the widest part and they wouldn’t if they were slightly longer, but that’s just being picky - they look fine.
