We live up in north Scotland and don't have a store near us. I'm visiting friends in Manchester this week and they've mentioned a trip there... I'm weirdly excited!

Any must haves?

Glad you enjoyed it. I love Primark. I usually spend £20 or £30 and come away with a big bag of new stuff.

T shirts , pants if you're the smaller of the two sizes you may need to go down a size., Socks, leggings. I rarely buy anything non stretchy . Oh and their PJ's are lovely. I don't know where a previous poster go the idea that their clothes don't last from. I've just ditched a regularly worn t-shirt that I've had for five years worn all year too

ElfrideSwancourt · 30/05/2018 12:26

Their vest tops are fab I have them in every colour. If you're a Harry Potter fan there's loads of cool stuff.

Deathraystare · 01/06/2018 15:32

I love the leggings but check before you buy that they are not too sheer - I am talking as sheer as tights- we can see you knicker label sheer! Others are fine. I have a few cardies and loads of short sleeve and long sleeve t shirts plain and patterned. Some knickers but no bras. I don't buy their socks either as although I am only a 6,, their size 4-8 socks give me cramp!!! I love the pyjama bottoms and those strappy tops to put with them - around £3. Great for baby clothes too!

Deathraystare · 01/06/2018 15:33

Oh and my friend noticed a lady had some good fake nails she got from Primark too. I also got some scarves and bags and some make up.

EVERYTHING! Grin

Liquid eyeliner is fab..only £1!!
Another vote here for the vest tops.. (especially the navy stripe ones with a bit of lace on the front).
Long sleeve scoop neck stretch t shirts.
Short sleeve ones too, but need to go up in size, very tight!
Those little ballerina pump style little cotton socks for wearing with low cut shoes.
Cotton cardigans, but sizing differs depending on colour.
Knickers.
Birkenstock type sandals.
converse type pumps
Towels..best I've ever bought.
Wrapping paper

GourmetGold · 01/06/2018 21:33

..and the jersey snoods they have at moment are nice.

BitOutOfPractice · 02/06/2018 00:13

Their sports / exercise gear is great but size up at least one size.

Caramelapplecake · 02/06/2018 18:16

Stretchy fitted T shirts and vest tops
The cotton/Lycra striped long sleeve Ts particularly good

I bought some patterned jersey harem pants a few weeks back and live in them

Hoodies are really cheap and lots of different colours but they wash really badly, bobble and shrink in the dryer. Doesn't stop me keep buying them though!

mmmgoats · 02/06/2018 18:58

I know you've already been OP, but just popped on to say I agree with PP who mentioned primark false nails - they are fantastic!

Also love their pjs, bedding (the proper cotton stuff), cushions, bath towels and basic tees - I live in them over summer and they wash surprisingly well, they've lasted a lot better than some of my more expensive tees.
