That is bloody amazing!!

My best ones to date:

Silk Yves scarf, £2.50

Coach clutch bag, £8.99

New Superga in box, £5

Burberry cashmere cardigan £6

Adriana Papell silk occasion dress, £7

Hugo Boss maroon shift dress £5 (too small but a good incentive to diet 😂)

I hardly get to go to any anymore, just too time-poor- dress to think what I've missed out on since 😩

LesAnya · 23/05/2018 23:27

Where have you found these amazing Charity shops?! The ones near me never have anything nice in, it’s all bobbled Primark/M&S Sad

Mrscog · 23/05/2018 23:28

I got a lovely pair of Gabor court shoes for £6.50 once. They’re classic, comfy and perfect for work.

HarrietKettleWasHere · 23/05/2018 23:29

Fara in South West London areas are always great. The Trinity Hospice in Hammersmith looked like a jumble sale but was a treasure trove, but they've done it up now so it looks like a boutique!

JacintaJones · 23/05/2018 23:32

Wow Harriet you've had some amazing bargains there!

It was a Liverpool charity shop. I've previously bought a new North Face down jacket at the same shop.

A Jaeger pin stripe trouser suit for £10.

Oldsu · 24/05/2018 00:48

My local Sally army shop has nothing over 3 quid, bought a brand new per una raincoat last week. DH went to look at shirts found 4 Paul Smith shirts obviously donated by the same person, he actually haggled and got a discount for buying all 4 £10 instead of £12 for the lot

Butterfly1066 · 24/05/2018 05:48

I find it quite distasteful when people haggle in charity shops

AdidasGirl · 24/05/2018 06:11

I'm another who doesn't like it when people haggle in charity shops.

My best find is probably a pair of prada heels for £3.99. I gave then a tenner for them though.

Sold them for £290.

Iamblossom · 24/05/2018 06:20

Silver Karen millen stilettos £20

Gorgeous next blue and white blazer £6

Superdry skinny jeans £5

River island jumper £3.50

Veh high calibration charity shops in a village near me, I love going in

heartyrebel · 24/05/2018 06:20

Don't suppose you donated the profit to the charity shop ?

Greenglassteacup · 24/05/2018 06:25

I LOve charity shops but would never haggle in them, that’s awful.

My favourite recent find is a round vintage basket bag in great condition for one pound

Floisme · 24/05/2018 07:19

Recent finds:
Prada jumper £7
Cos shirt £4
Cos dress £6
Lanvin tuxedo waistcoat (I keep going back in case the rest of it turns up) £4

It's not a particularly affluent area - I just go round them a lot.

travailtotravel · 24/05/2018 07:21

Mulberry cross body bag. £10

Frouby · 24/05/2018 07:27

My wedding dress. £150. Would have been around 1k new. Felt amazing in it, didnt mind getting it dirty and stood on, and loved it even more because it was from a charity shop.

Also had school coats for ds for 2 last 2 years. 1 next and 1 john rocha. £3 and £4. An imaginex batman tower thing plus 8 figures that was still on the Argos website for £50 for £5.

Loads of things. Love a good charity shop find!

Last bargain was an immaculate Jasper Conran dress for £4.

Jaxtellerswife · 24/05/2018 08:17

Hearty she overpaid for them anyway. She bought them, they were hers to sell, wear or put in a cupboard or bin as she pleased

AjasLipstick · 24/05/2018 08:29

I bought three AMAZING vintage dresses from our usually rubbish charity shop. They were obviously from the same woman's collection.

An amazing bias cut maxi skirt made of a mad sort of printed hessian fabric...deep red and orange flowers all over it. A beautiful, maxi dress early 1970s, looks unworn...with a tailored collar and the most wearable muted floral print...and an empire line cotton maxi dress in teal and green with tiny, 60s floral print.

I have hung them all up on my wardrobe rather than IN it and really, I want to frame them all!

pasturesgreen · 24/05/2018 08:30

Mine are a Valentino top for £8 (charity shop in Henley), Aquascutum Chanel-esque suit for £38 (SW London), brand new Hobbs wool jacket for £12, Issa cherry print silk dress for £4.

phoebemac · 24/05/2018 08:36

@AjasLipstick I would love to see a pic of those!

My best are an Oliver Bonas dress and a Jigsaw jacket. My local charity shop isn't that great!

herethereandeverywhere · 24/05/2018 08:44

Chloe cream silk dress. It was £70 but would have been over a grand new.

DD was having a meltdown so I couldn't stay and browse but I desperately wanted to know what else had come in in the bag that was in - fitted me perfectly and she had amazing taste!

MyGastIsFlabbered · 24/05/2018 11:46

We need pictures of these amazing finds!

CoolCarrie · 24/05/2018 12:37
